I would too. I would flip even more if they opened with Once though.

I wonder what they'll play at my show.
  2. ^Put about 100 songs of theirs in a hat and pull out 30 of them. Aside from "Even Flow" and "Alive" (and maybe a handful from Backspacer) which are close to being "sure things," predicting the rest is a crap shoot.
  3. Also expect a few covers^

  4. This is indeed a great setlist - the "big four" from Ten, many greats from Vs and Vitalogy, great rockers from No Code and Yield, classic Binaural tunes that are still in the set, a relatively high number of Riot Act songs, some great cover (Crazy Mary to open), and YLB to close - and all songs are played with great vigor!

I'll be listening to this one for a few days, for sure.

Matt.....I would suggest you catch Dave Matthews Band, they are playing in Toronto June 2nd..talk about a band where you have no clue as to what they will play....great live band...
  6. You know, I've never really given them a chance. Maybe a should. My wife's a fan (at least she was) so she might appreciate it.

No "promises" but I'll consider it - for you. (I've always assumed the DMB in your username was paying homage to Dave Matthews and his band)

  7. It being three years since their last album, maybe they'll start changing things up by not changing things up.

Maybe they could borrow "The Claw."

I'm afraid it wouldn't fit in the indoor arenas that they're playing.

Doing a little "reseach" and according to setlist.fm this was the last time PJ played this song. It also says that Tom Petty had only performed this song once - ever !- and it wasn't until 2011 in Detroit (??????). Is that a mistake?

Tom Petty has in fact performed this song almost at just about every show since its release. Perhaps you were looking at solely "Tom Petty" and not "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers", which is what you would find his setlist data under.
