1. With the delay on the new studio album, maybe they want to have something "official" (beyond the bootlegs, that is) that they can sell in stores later on in 2012.

I could be way off here...Paul McGuiness isn't their manager.
  2. That Toronto 2003 gig was indeed a wild one. EV seemed quite impressed with the crowd. RITFW and Baba in the same show!

I just realized that is the first non-2011 Toronto gig I've listened to in its entirity. I have 2000, 2005, 2X2006, and 2009 on my computer. I'd better get on them soon.

(and to think I missed them all - big, big f-bomb)
  3. Bad job missing those gigs Matt, the least you could do is LISTEN to the shows you missed...LOL
  4. The 2003 Montreal gig is also a pretty good one - even though it felt like EV would never end "Wishlist."

  5. I know...I know...In my defense, I've been too "busy" listening to all the US "Ed-Man" shows you've been recommending.
  6. HaHa.....true..but I think we did a Canadian 03 mix a couple months back,but it was only Toronto and Montreal,not Vancouver.....right ?
  7. That's right...I think/hope I copied it somewhere to use at a later date - will probably try to get Vancouver in there. I was also thinking big about putting all the 2000's (naughties?) Canadian shows together in YET ANOTHER Mega-mix (might skip the 2005 tour - too much to choose from there). I guess that would include:
    Toronto 2000
    Vancouver 2003
    Toronto 2003
    Montreal 2003
    Toronto 2006 (x2)
    Calgary 2009
    Vancouver 2009
    Toronto 2009
    Did I miss any?

  9. I plan to listen to the 2003 Toronto and Montreal shows until the end of the week - and then it's on to the legendary July 2003 shows. I plan to listen to all 10 of them (not including the three Mexico City dates - I wore them out last fall).
  10. A Canadian mega mix...I like it.....call it,A Decade-Live In O'Canada..

but you HAVE to include 2005..I saw them in Montreal in '05..AMAZING....I love that 2005 Canadian tour...
  11. Well, just the "big" cities maybe. I'd do a 2005 mix...no Once played on that tour, however. That's a glaring absence in a megamix.
  12. Take Once from another tour in Canada..the '05 shows were great..Halifax,Toronto,Montreal,Quebec,Ottawa,Saskatoon....some off the chart places...Harvest Moon was great on that tour...
