1. I plan to listen to the 2000 European shows once I'm finished with the 2003 ones. I have a feeling you might a bit to say about some of them!
  2. I am now at the famous July 11, 2003 show in Mansfield - the final gig of "the experiment." The acoustic opening (about a dozen songs) is INCREDIBLE. I'm going to buy the Benroyal Hall gig later this week.

Aside from what they did in Germany in 1992 and the two perfromances I mentioned about, have PJ done any other full-on acoustic sets?

hehe .. easy for me to say both the italian gigs are outstanding, maybe too much personal but Ed already confirmed Milano '00 can quite easily have a spot in the PJ Olympus .. Verona is a great one too anyway
other than "my" shows i'd say (going from memory) the double Wembley Arena, better the second because of Immortality presence, but that's my usual "problem" hehe, and Black-Alive closing if i remember well.
Dublin, Prague, Katowice 2, Berlin ...

MTV unplugged and first part of Gorge '05 show for example
  5. I was considering getting that 7-CD Gorge package as well. Obviously, lots of oustanding tunes played at those three shows.
  6. don't just consider, get it!
  7. I know - I guess being spoiled with all of those other bootlegs has kept me from shelling out for it. Aside from the pretty packaging is there any noticable difference in sound quality in these shows?
  8. very good sounding i'd say .. like the other live albums
  9. I may wait a little while then to get the Gorge set - still have a bunch of bootlegs to listen to over the next while.

Have just two shows to go in my 2003 odyssey.

June is getting nearer. Can't wait to see what they play - will there be any change in there ever-changing setlist?
