1. Oh, yeah....I never "caught" those five US shows in 2005. Any interesting "history" behind them? Are the other four any good?

2005 (along with Europe 2000 and many of 2009...any Bonnaroo 2008..and...you get my drift) are on the "to do" list.
  2. Speaking of shows I didn't realize happened:

Up until last night, I thought the Toronto show was the only gig PJ played in Canada in 2000. I wasn't aware they'd played Montreal the night before.

    Huh.

I know what I'll be listening to over the weekend.
  3. Looking through some older gigs, those final two 1995 gigs in San Diego would be a nice two-pack to get from the PJ "vault." There aren't too many of that weren't played in at least one of those two shows.
  4. listening to the Indio '93 soundboard remaster ... the famous "shoes" show

i got shoes, i got a shirt... i need a cap and some shorts .. somebody throw up a gun so i can shoot you all fuckers ... ah, I meant that with love.

Hhahahahaha, classic gig..I havent listened to that show in ages...
  6. Didn't Eddie say the band (Jeff and Stone, anyway) were going to beat up anyone who went through the exits at the end of the show with barefeet?

    Ha!
  7. Just watched the Garden DVD. Great DVD, especially Do The Evolution is amazing.

  8. There was an amazing hater there... He was mad at bono for saving Africa instead of the poor in the US who he were supposed to save because they had bought more U2 albums. Extremely logical. Now... I doubt the Africans Bono are saving can even buy a U2 album... And I think you get more human "value" in Africa.... But.......
  9. Found this while looking for images to make a cover for my 2006 mix:

I always wondered what those bootlegs covers would look like if properly ordered.
  10. Have any of you taken the time to listen to the "Green Habit" compilation? I have not. It contains, and I quote: a 10 cd compilation of a version of each track played live by the band up to 2003.

  11. Now THIS is a PJ collector:

I wonder if the money in the jar on top of the CD shelf is all he has left?

  12. Matt...how did you get this pic of my PJ cds ????? lol

Notice the 2000 boots, on the right side,3rd shelf from the bottom, with the 2003 boots below them..very nice....

I have to admit,as insane as Iam with all my live PJ,this guy (I think) has me beat....lol
