1. Jerry Cantrell

there's also Eddie in the background (between Chris and Jerry)
  2. I figured it was JC but for a split second I thought it was Axl...which didn't make a lot of sense. However, the red spandex threw me off. Even Chris Cornell seems to be thinking "huh?" about those things in the pic.
  3. Just picked up Yield. My journey through PJ's discography continues

  4. Good stuff

  5. Yield is a great album. Definitely my favourite beyond the first three.

I think the band really likes it (or at least many of the songs on it), too. Do The Evolution and Given to Fly are played regularly in their shows. Great songs like Faithfull, Wishlist, MFC, Brain of J, and In Hiding rarely, if ever, get omitted from any leg of a tour. All Those Yesterdays and No Way got shelved for YEARS but deservedly came out in recent years. I've even started appreciating Low Light (and little too subdued for my liking) and Push Me Pull Me (somewhat exprerimental). Only Pilate continues to be a song that I really don't like. I think it's positioning on the studio album is too early.
  6. Yeild is very good,I think its songs are great, but they werent recorded greatly..live,they sound so much better...they have so much more balls and life to them...same went for the tunes on No Code, which actually sound like demos to me.......If Yeild had that loud, clean Pearl Jam rockin' sound, like Ten and Vs..it would have been a monster...
  7. That's why it (Yield) needs a remaster!
  8. Sounds like what you want is a rerecording.
  9. Well, I doubt they'd go that far.

Best just to retrack it using, as Ed said, live tracks. Most, if not all, of the songs sound better in concert.

Fan sites are allowed to post any official shows as long as they are not for sale on Pj.com
Also looking through Pj forums you can find whole years of official boots all together.

We all know that, it is just that we usually use pearljambootlegs.org
  12. So, Olof......what do you think of Yield?
