1. I was wondernig who "Ox" was - and surprised The Who's bassist didn't get represented.

    Now it all makes sense.
  2. Mikey is in mood to chat lately hehe

SM: I saw the Temple of the Dog stuff that happened around the Pearl Jam 20 shows. Any chance of that happening again?
Mike McCready: I’d love it. I’d love to do another record. If it happens organically and everyone’s into it, it’d be awesome. We were all around the same place the first time. And that’d have to happen again. And it was a different cause, for sure. But I’m up for it. I’d play with those guys any time.

Chris is often playing Hunger Strike, Say Hello 2 Heaven, Call Me A Dog, Wooden Jesus in his solo tour ... maybe he will pick the call
  3. Another band that you’ve been a part of that once included the late Layne Staley is Mad Season. Is there any leftover material that didn’t make the debut album? If so, is there a chance that any of that will see the light of day?

Fantastic question! Funny you should mention that because we are working on that right now. There was another record that we did that, unfortunately, Layne (Stanley) and (Mark) Lanegan didn’t show up for – we did do music for it. There are a total of 11-12 unreleased songs that need a little bit of editing here and there. We’re looking at putting together those songs with singers who are the late Layne Staley’s caliber, if we can find them. I’d also like to find out if we can remaster and then re-release Above. I also came across some live tapes of a live show we did at the Crocodile. I was at our warehouse and found some two-inch tape of the show. I’d love to release all of this by the end of this year – that’s what we’re shooting for. I probably shouldn’t be telling you any of this, but that’s the plan as of the last two days.

quite hard to find a late Layne Staley’s caliber singer uh?! hehe
if those songs were sung by Mark an amaziiiinnnngggg stuff would have come out ... same if he does it now .. sort of half Screaming Trees reunion ... i guess it's quite impossible but you never know from that man hehehe
  4. I couldn't find my iPod for my morning jog...I "borrowed" my oldest daughters iTouch...I scroll over to PJ,and I find an extended studio version of Lukin, called Lukin extended edit...clocking in at 1min 35 sec...the last 25 seconds are hard jamming and Ed screaming,...WTF ?........is this from RVM the best of maybe ?....I never bought that, cause I obviously have all the tunes..where did she find this version ??? .Matt ?..Ron ?...
  5. no Lukin is not in Rearviewmirror in any form .. now this needs a research hehe ..
in any holiday singles? could it be?

    EDIT: no it's not
  6. probably solved the mystery hehehe
i've found this post on a forum

we were talkin about songs that are too short on another board yesterday and i remembered how lukin is annoyingly short, so i did an extended edit in fruity. did some mastering/eq/and such to it as well. i think it turned out pretty cool. not a dance mix or anything, just added another chorus, a few bars of guitar, a combined 'some fucking freak..' and '..the freak was purchasing a fucking gun', c/p'd the intro fill to lead into the final hit, then a reverse of the hit. also made the intro mono and may've added a little verb, can't remember lol

and there's a mediafire link .. so something fan made
  7. Seeing Mark Lanegan tonight....I'll take pictures for you guys

Looking at recent setlists, he is playing some Screaming Trees stuff!
  8. enjoy it all
yeah i saw that he's adding a second Screaming Trees song in this US leg .. both (Crawlspace, also in europe, and Black Rose Way) are from the unreleased album

  10. My daughter doesn't like it when I play PJ - she is only four, however.

I'll work harder on my son as the years progress.

I really don't want him to be into dance music.
  11. Listening to 2005 Halifax show today...definitely a good one. Really appreciated the "Hard to Imagine" opener. If kind of funny how I really didn't know "lost dogs" like "Wash," "Down," "Sad," and this one (amongst others) until just over a year ago.
  12. Halifax to the Max !!!..lol..Matt,that show is a classic..love it...
