we were talkin about songs that are too short on another board yesterday and i remembered how lukin is annoyingly short, so i did an extended edit in fruity. did some mastering/eq/and such to it as well. i think it turned out pretty cool. not a dance mix or anything, just added another chorus, a few bars of guitar, a combined 'some fucking freak..' and '..the freak was purchasing a fucking gun', c/p'd the intro fill to lead into the final hit, then a reverse of the hit. also made the intro mono and may've added a little verb, can't remember lol

and there's a mediafire link .. so something fan made

Ah..great detective work Ron..thats whats Ed is screaming at the end "the freak was purchasing a fucking gun !" over and over..and its a fan mix ?.sounds great though....thanks
  4. My daughter doesn't like it when I play PJ - she is only four, however.

I'll work harder on my son as the years progress.

I really don't want him to be into dance music.
  5. Listening to 2005 Halifax show today...definitely a good one. Really appreciated the "Hard to Imagine" opener. If kind of funny how I really didn't know "lost dogs" like "Wash," "Down," "Sad," and this one (amongst others) until just over a year ago.
  6. Halifax to the Max !!!..lol..Matt,that show is a classic..love it...
  7. As great as the song performances at the Halifax show is, I think the best parts involve EV making fun of Alexander Keiths beer.

  8. ...and then they break into Breath - great performance despite a couple of lyrical miscues.

  10. ...and he makes good on his word that they'll keep playing if someone gets him a Keiths.

    Eight pack!

Man, I feel like a beer.
  11. Up here in my tree...I've been trading stories with the Keiths.

i said quite impossible and you never know with Mark hehehe

Mamasan Bren posted this yesterday on the PearlJam.com forums, he met Mike McCready at a Flight to Mars show in Las Vegas:

Following up on the Mad Season news from that interview, [Mike McCready] does have a commitment from a singer now. I have to say that a billion Coronas and a stiff rum and coke wiped out the name he said. I want to say a Lanigan or Flanigan or something like that, but am just not able to recall, but he said that he was pretty much lined up to record for their release later this year. Also, that the work with Sony to free up the rights to some of the unreleased tracks was definitely in progress.

John posted this on the PearlJam.com forums a week ago:

Well I just spoke to Mark Lanegan last night and I posed the question of his potential involvement in the upcoming Mad Season projects and he said “Yes. I will most likely being doing some stuff with them.” I had to ask. There is an answer from the man himself delivered with a magnificently sly grin.

oh if only it will really happen ...
