Its very good Olof..but those same songs sound much better live IMO....I actually have a mix from the 2000 boots...Binaural Live 2000....
  3. Olof,

Just make sure you don't forget about "Long Road." It's not on any of the albums - you've probably/hopefully heard it open the Sept 11, 2011 concert in Toronto, however.
  4. The boss I think I know quite well. A majority of his records are in this house already And my Boss concerts are not until the 27th and 28th of July.

So my PJ studies have the highest priority. Hugely enjoying them too
  5. Can't wait to hear what you think of PJ's second decade.

I mean this in a good way (and I think I've stated something like it before) but it's so cool that you don't have the influence of popular radio to influence what songs you prefer. Two songs from Binaural got radio play back in 2000 (not too sure if you know which two or not) but because I heard them on the radio, I still rate them higher than most of the songs on the album. A very similar situation came with their next album, Riot Act. My two favourite songs are still the first two singles - admittedly/embarrassingly due to radio influence and the fact that I didn't listen to these two albums in their entirety until years after there release.

    In any case...enjoy!
  6. Listening to Edmonton 2005...pretty solid show - although the setlist is relatively short.
  7. interview with Matt
What about the new Pearl Jam Album? When can we expect it?
We’re going to finish recording this fall. We had half of it done, and then we decided to go back and do some more writing. We’re going to do publish it at some point in 2013, but I can’t look that far into the future

quite right in the context of what we said yesterday
  8. Binaural second last in my top list (if bound to do) .. followed by a great tour (with a sort of breakpoint in their life/career) with one of their best shows i attended
uhm same as U2 in those years .. great correlation between the bands in those years hehe

    first ukulele there
  9. Binaural is a "mixed bag" in terms of song quality (and diversity, I suppose). Of the the 13 songs on the record, I can say that I like about seven of them, think another four are just okay, and am not a fan of two of them.

...and then there's all of those outtakes (found on Lost Dogs).
  10. let me try to guess ....

Breakerfall, Nothing as it seems, Sleight of hand, Insignificance, Of the girl, Grievance, Parting Ways

Thin air, Light years, God's dice, Rival

    Soon forget, Evacuation

This album isnt on my top list either but there are a couple i will always love
(Nothing as it Seems, Of the Girl) are two of there finest "darker songs"
i enjoyed that tour for all the boots i bought(30 plus) plus Charlotte 2000 was
first time i saw them live.
  12. VERY close, Ron.

I am a big fan of Light Years (the radio play back in 2000 probably helped) but not so much Sleight of Hand.
