2005 was indeed a good year for PJ performances. I have enjoyed listening to these shows (currently listening to "Black" from Winnipeg). Lots of great tunes from all the albums released to that point. Hate to say it, I feel that most (not all) songs from "Avocado" waters down the set.
My only two complaints:
1. Never any "It's Okay" tags at the end of the performances of "Daughter." I have to admit, I have become a bit obsessed with those versions - and surprised how few times it had been played.
2. A lot of the lesser known songs from Ten were omitted from the tour.- "Garden," "Why Go'" or "Deep" weren't played at all.

"Its kind of thrilling to play the same weekend as Jay Z"....Really ? Why ? I guess Stone didnt see the clip of Jay Z "singing" with U2 on Bloody Sunday in Berlin...his "Yeah yeah...aight" really added so much...."aight"..wow..hes so talented...
Why does everyone in the music industry, kiss his and his wifes ass so much ? Everyone except Noel of course..lol
I dont think too many PJ fans are thrilled about this..I know Im not going to Philly..and that speaks volumes...its only 90 miles from Manhattan......and this is from someone who gets on planes to see his bands....

As they date approaches, however, you may be going through PJ withdrawl, decide at the last minute to jump in your car and get to Philly just in time to see them.
Hahaa.....you know something......I can't rule anything out......I'm heading over to newark airport soon....Chris and his family are landing from London.....looking forward to Radiohead with him tomorrow night....then the Disney Cruise with our combined 7 kids....lol....Mickey will need a glass of wine after our kids work him over for 8 days...lol....
Then...we see DMB at Jones Beach....I dragged him to see them at Citi Field in 2010....he was converted.....his wife loves them as well...and tell me they are like the only Brits who like DMB...lol...thanks to me......
Europe 2012 ?.seeing PJ in England ?..2 gigs ?....one word...... brilliant....
