I guess it's best to remember what we were discussing in previous posts.

    LOL...Im sorry Matt...lol.....but,then again..this is a PEARL JAM forum right...lol

BTW....I just got an email from u2.com...you can download 11 tracks from U22 as of today....
  2. I've downloaded them all - U22 will definitely be worth the membership fee. I hope they release more stuff (either from U22 contenders or other shows from the past). They have A LOT of work to do, however, to get into Pearl jam's realm.
  3. LOL.....They will NEVER release gigs like PJ Matt........

DMB doesnt even release gigs like PJ...and they release alot..around 60 gigs..not bad..but nothing like PJ...
  4. Just finishing the second night of St. John's 2005.

Nice gig. Read that they were forced to cut about five songs from the set, however.
  5. I played Quebec numerous times..I have tried to get my reviews in Matt..I havent been able to....sorry for that....Im taking Chris and his family..along with mine..to Ellis Island tomorrow...doing the tourist thing....then me and Chris head over to NJ to see Radiohead.....

Sat we go over to the pier by 42 st, to board the Disney Magic..will return June 10th....so..keep the forum going Matt..with Ronnie..ok...

We are listening to the Warrington gig..from Oct 3rd,2000..I went to this gig with Chris...cant believe this was almost 12 yrs ago already....this was the Kid A gig..as it was released that day..(I think)....

On the balcony listening to it here....Cigars..Bass Ale...getting ready.....
  6. Enjoy, Radiohead - and the cruise.

I know I will - Radiohead, that is.

I was going to wait until tomorrow to make this next post but just in case you were looking for a good PJ mix for your cruise - and it might make your friend Chris feel a bit more at home...
  7. It’s almost/now June and the PJ European Tour is on the horizon.

    Time to celebrate/hype it!

Up until recently, I felt bad that I ignored the European tours in my mega-mixes of Pearl Jam Tours. I have made ones for North America 2000, 2003, and 2006, USA 2010, and Canada 2011. Also, I am planning to create four-disc mixes for the 2005 and 2009 North American tours.

But what about the rest of the world?

The “problem” with all of the European tours is that on each tour, songs that I deemed to be essential to the PJ canon are left out! For example, neither “In My Tree” nor “Breath” was played during the 2000 shows in Europe. Also omitted from the sets were several songs from the classic album Vs.
After skipping Europe in 2003, PJ went on to play several classic shows in the late summer of 2006. However, greats like “Immortality,” “Sometimes,” and “Nothing as it Seems” were completely left off every setlist.

    What’s a compiler to do?

How about a combo of the two tours?

I admit that the sound level of the 2000 shows is not quite as good as the 2006 ones (although I did increase the overall volume of them) but I couldn’t make a mix using the 2009/2010 shows as they cannot be shared legally. Finally, there's still no "Oceans" or "Deep" but as I mentioned in an earlier post, neither song has been played in Europe since the 1990's.

    Anyway, here it is:

Most of the songs from the Italy shows were not included in that earlier mix.

In terms of performances and quality of songs, this one is probably the best mix I've made.

  11. I don't see this shot when I visit pearljam.com. Is it for 10c members only?

Maybe it won't switch over until a certain time of day in each time zone.

It looks pretty cool. They're promoting the "lost" 2011 Mexico City gig on the page you posted. What's going on there?
  12. no it's not switched yet .. the pic is one of some contained in the mail from 10c which says the start-up will be in early june
