I think I'll record a cover of Black sometime soon. I tried to today but kind of lost my voice.

I think I've somewhat "spammed" this thread to death already!

Best of luck with Black. With all do respect, I'll be a challenge. EV had a hard time with it back in 1992 - so much so that they dropped from their setlist for a while.
  2. It's those final lines that take such a toll on the voice.

    I'm just like Eddie
  3. Nothing like the anger of a young(er) Eddie Vedder to get the make the music great and the crowd going.

Have you listened to any of their earlier bootlegs (1992-1994) yet?

You might be running out of time before your show but I recommend you get some of them from the "wegotshit" site.

  4. Yeah, there is only like 40 seating tickets left. That will probably sell out before the gig.

I can't believe it is only 9 days until I go down to Manchester and see Pearl Jam. Wow.
  5. meanwhile ... tomorrow is going to be released (amazon and itunes) the Jeff solo album
  6. Keiran, Olof, and (to a lesser extent - no offense, I'm sure you understand) Ed, I'd like you to list a "dream setlist" before the show...

...and then we'll see how you do!

Keiran, are you going to one or both shows in Manchester - or are you going to the festival?

I realize money is money but I truly regret not going to Night #2 in Toronto last September. If it is the Manchester show, don't make the same mistake as I did if you don't have to.
  7. Kieran*

I'm only going to the first show; I don't really have the time to go to the second show. Neither did I have the money at the time to go to the second show.

I'll make a dream setlist, don't you worry
  8. I'll make one with the songs from the albums I've listened to now... then I can make a new one later and see what the changes are.
  9. My apologies Kieran.

    "i before e except after c"

Well, we'll have to make sure you at least get a copy of night #2!

With all due respect toPJ's second decade, you've listend to their first five albums so you'll hit all the best ones.

My top 30 - even 40 - PJ songs come from the 1990's.
  11. I'll cry if the second night gets much better songs and a longer set than the first.
  12. So... I just came up with something quickly... It'd probably change if I made another one. I'm a bit random with things like this But I figure this would be a pretty good one. And yes... I did have a bit of a problem with wanting to have too many songs as closers.
