1. My apologies Kieran.

    "i before e except after c"

Well, we'll have to make sure you at least get a copy of night #2!

With all due respect toPJ's second decade, you've listend to their first five albums so you'll hit all the best ones.

My top 30 - even 40 - PJ songs come from the 1990's.
  3. I'll cry if the second night gets much better songs and a longer set than the first.
  4. So... I just came up with something quickly... It'd probably change if I made another one. I'm a bit random with things like this But I figure this would be a pretty good one. And yes... I did have a bit of a problem with wanting to have too many songs as closers.

    (high energy opening)
    1. Once
    2. Go
    3. Animal
    4. Even Flow
    5. Corduroy
    6. In Hiding
(time to calm down a bit)
    7. Daughter
    8. Nothingman
    9. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
(time for a tempo riser... I believe I have an ideal song for slowly doing that)
    10. In My Tree
    11. Rearviewmirror
    12. Do The Evolution
    13. Dissident
    14. Why Go
(time to calm down a little bit before closing the set)
    15. Garden
    16. Porch

(time to please the crowd a bit)
    17. Jeremy
    18. Alive
    19. Immortality
    20. Just Breathe
    21. Black
    22. Rockin' In The Free World

    (more awesomeness... coming your way!!)
    23. Spin The Black Circle
    24. Rats
    25. Whipping
    26. Indifference (Eddie solo on ukulele)

    (concert is over? haha)
    27. Given To Fly
    28. Love Reign' Over Me (TOTAL EPICNESS!!!!!!!!!!)
    29. Release

(Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me! starts playing in the PA and everyone wonders why they didn't play Better Man... band comes back out again for a magic singalong moment!)
    30. Better Man
  5. BTW: Eddie comes out before the show and does Without You and Longing To Belong on the ukulele... then an acoustic guitar version of Wishlist (I forgot that one in the setlist).
  6. I nearly cried after missing Night #2 in Toronto.

    Top 3 shows that I-considered-seeing-but-didn't-and-therefore-I-live-my-life-with-regret:

    3. Pearl Jam (Toronto 2011, Night 2)
    2. Radiohead (Toronto, 2008)
    1. Any Elevation Tour show in 2001 - I (sort of) had an opportunity to see at least three of them and dropped the ball all three times. Oh, the humanity!

Tough to argue with your list - you got all/most of the classics from the first three albums.

    No Yellow Ledbetter, eh?
  8. Got five closers already And I have only heard Yellow Leadbetter like once... and I wasn't that fond of it.

BTW: Anyone know anything about opening acts?
  9. Admittedly, it's (YLB) a "grower."

  10. It will - only because (to you) it'll seem like a better setlist.

That's how it worked for me, anyway.
  11. Got back sunday, from my Disney Cruise to the Bahamas..amazing time..all the kids loved it,as well as the adults...Disney's Magic, out of Manhattan, was just great..I highly recommend taking a Disney Cruise. They have their OWN island,Castaway Cay,just a gorgeous place, very enjoyable for everyone..Adult only beach was so nice and relaxing..Actually,25% of the ship is for adults only.Adult only pool, bars and restaurants..They have a "kids club",so my wife and Chris and his wife, were actually able to eat as human beings a few times..lol......by the way,the Magic will be docked in Spain at the end of the year until 2013 I believe....

IMO,for PJ,N2's are almost always better.N1 Toronto 2011 being an exception for PJ...same goes for DMB,even U2 (N2 Montreal 2011 was better than N1)......look to MSG 2010..N1 was great,N2 EPIC...

This past weekend though,DMB's N1 at SPAC,was way better than N2...but that is rare...
  12. I was thinking about looking into a Disney Cruise out of NYC in the near future for my family. WIthout being too nosy, is it relatively affordable?

    Back on topic now:

A little bit quiet around here without you, Ed. However, some excitement beginning to build with the Euro tour starting next week.

Olof's not going to finish the discography in time!

I'm trying to convince Kerian...I mean Kieran to see BOTH shows with little success.

Ronnie got to see Matt Cameron with Soundgarden but somehow I think he'd rather see PJ instead.

I've been listening to more Radiohead than PJ these past two weeks but have done some extensive work on the four-disc 2005 mix.
