1. Okay, so what I'm looking at are:

    Italy shows from 2006
    MSG shows from 2010

Probably should get Mansfiekd shows from 2003 and Philly shows from 2009...maybe Portugal from 2006

    I have MSG 2003...Melbourne 1998...Chicago 1995...

    Anything else?

    This might get ridiculous.

Yeah, Eddie with short hair just doesn't seem....right.

LOL...well....they have released every show since 2000,except a few Bridge School gigs.2000 was a fantastic tour.I love the first leg from Europe.I have all 72 cds.Took a long time to collect. The band picked 18 of their favorite gigs from this tour.Ill list 20 that I recommend from 2000.

    Milan,Katowice 2,Verona,Berlin,Praha,Hamburg,London 2,Barcelona,NY 2,NY3,Chicago,Philly 1,East Troy,Detroit,Las Vegas,San Diego,San Fran,Fresno,Boise,Seattle 2...thats my 20 out of 72 MUST have gigs.IMO of course.

If I were you,I would download 1 gig at a time.Start with Europe, then move onto the North American gigs.Pitt is a wild show as well. They opened with Even Flow.

Go to pearljambootlegs.org,open a bottle of red wine, and enjoy !!..LOL
  4. The 3 Mansfield gigs are also a MUST from 2003....07.2, .3 and the 11th......The gig from 07.11 starts with an acoustic set. Then the band left, the "opening band" played a set, then PJ played another full set. They are amazing. They did this again in 2005 at the Gorge. The Gorge gigs from 2006 are also great. Its not easy to just pick a handfull of gigs. These are popular shows Im mentioning. The list is endless, since unlike U2,PJ release almost every gig they have played since 2000.

oh well MSG shows are always a safe, one of the best place to see them i guess .. after Seattle hehe.
i have an unofficial dvd from that date, 21th, (aside of the audios) .. and, as they say, it's one of the things to take in the classic desert island.
cool also the official dvd "Live at the Garden" back in 2003
one of my goal is to attend a show at that venue by PJ and/or U2

Im biased, since Im a New Yorker. But,both PJ and U2,IMO, have put on some of their best shows at MSG.EV has said this.He mentioned the 2010 shows recently as the bands best.Prior to that year,MSG 2003 was said to be the bands favorite gigs....

U2...well the post 09.11 shows were beyond words in 2001.I have seen U2 in MSG many times.04.01.85,09.28.87 and 03.18.92 jump out at me,as great shows I was in attendance at......

Wow! You are indeed a big PJ fan!

Is it safe to assume that you are a 10c member?

Do you know if I have to be a 10c member to purchase the bootleg CD's from their site?

Yes,I joined the 10 club many moons ago, showin my age.LOL....I believe you have to at least register, with 10c, to order their merchandise.Their club does everything possible, to get us tix,but their system ALWAYS goes down, and its chore to get tickets.

Other than that,it really is a great fanclub,up there with the Warehouse (DMB).
  8. yes the free registration to the site is enough to order; 10c membership is needed just for some particular items.
meanwhile the 3-disc version of PJ20 is sold out .. both blu-ray and dvd
  9. Did you get your copy?
  10. oh yes .. i ordered it a couple of weeks ago .. it will be dispatched not before the release date i guess
  11. Browsing through the 2006 Italy shows, it appears they covered the first three albums quite well (aside from no Oceans, Glorified G, or Immortality) but really skipped over most (not all) of the next three albums aside from repeated plays of Given To Fly and Do The Evolution. Riot Act did okay while, obviously, "Avocado" was played a tonne.

Thinking ahead to a 2003 compilation, an "Early July" mix would work well. The shows from both Tweeter Centres (Mansfield and Camden) as well as MSG covers a great deal of their work, both popular and obscure.
