1. Melbourne is amazing..I have never been that crazy about the summer 09 boots.pre Backspacer being released....besides Got Some and Fixer,it was pretty much the same as the 08 tour..same tunes....the Oct 6th LA gig is amazing as well Matt..thats the gig when Chris C jumps onstage...and Jerry Cantrell plays with the band on Alive..and Alive actually closed the show..

and BTW,when the hell happened to the PJ20 Alpine gigs from almost a yr ago!!??!!
  2. I had to listen to the 2009 Toronto show - and the London one seemed fitting with the Olympics and all (I'm making stuff up here as I go). I'm planning to listen to all seven of the Aussie gigs and the two quartets (LA and Philly) as well as the San Diego show. What about the Berlin, Melbourne, or Rotterdam shows?

I'll get to the 2008 shows soon - namely the two MSG ones. I hear the Hartford show and the two Mansfield shows are also pretty solid as well as Bonnaroo (from you, I believe). Anything else? Camden? DC?

Those PJ20 gigs appear to be being pu in the "vault."
  3. So what are "appropriate" mega-mixes I should (eventually) make? My thinking would be:
    1) 2008 US
    2) 2009 US (and Canada)
    3) 2009 Euro/Aussie/NZ
  4. All the 08 boots you mentioned are very very good.Hartford was really amazing,as I didnt expect that much, and I was blown away from that rockin gig.

Was that a typo as far as Melbourne 09 lol..that show is brilliant..
  5. It was indeed a typo...I meant Manchester!
  6. The San Diego show from 09 is very very good,as are the Seattle gigs..I cant believe its been 3 years since the band has played Seattle, whats up with that ??

Sounds good..I did a 4 nights in LA 09 mix, maybe do the same with Philly ??
  8. Maybe a combo for the two cities - two discs for each city???

Would I have to include "Bugs?"

Oh, yeah. Seattle. Didn't they play those two shows the night after Backspacer was released?

Speaking of Backspacer, I was in a Target today in Rochester (that's another story) and saw about thirty of these CD's taking up an entire shelf. I don;t know if that's a good thing or not - there weren't any of their other albums there.
  10. Could someone send me the link to Man 2 again? I wasn't home and there were problems downloading it on my phone. Thanks
