1. Roshester, although very close to Canada, is in the USA (across Lake Ontario). It appears that people in Upstate New York don't appreciate good rock n roll - too busy listening to Scotty McCreary (sp?) and Maroon 5.
  2. I can finally say that I fully appreciate Binaural. It's a good album and extremely underrated.

Also, I received the Manchester II show on CD today.
  3. uhm i was not good in geography at school hehe
  4. ^How about we put you in charge of Amsterdam #1 (it should be released on Wednesday) and either Ed or Erik can take care of #2? We still need to figure out who's in charge of the two fesitival shows that were in Belgium and France - we have a couple of weeks to work this out.

it depends if you judge it relatively to the PJ discography or to a general musical context .. kidding hehe

    nice knock from the postman

  6. It's Rochester - not New York or Toronto - so it's quite understandable.

I prefer to Riot Act and Pearl Jam actually. It's not their worst work.

It is a good album - some great songs on it (and, unfortunately, a few clunkers). The band "underrates" it as well as they don't play the songs from it all that often - at least compared to most of their other albums.

Do you plan to open your Man 2 CD's? My Toronto shows are still in their packaging!

  9. I have a hard time deciding which I like better: Binaural or Riot Act.

They are both better than "Avocado," imho.

It's opened, but I somehow wish I didn't open it. The shrink wrap didn't look that good anyway - it was flapping over the top quite a bit.

What songs from Binaural do you think are 'clunkers'?
  11. Evacuation (Matt Cameron isn't the greatest songwriter) and Sleight of Hand (just doesn't work for me - sorry, Ed) are the two that come to mind...Soon Forget is just okay - should be the final song on the album - kind of like Married with Children from Oasis's Definitely Maybe....I've recently gained appreciation for Rival.
