1. I have a hard time deciding which I like better: Binaural or Riot Act.

They are both better than "Avocado," imho.

Do you plan to open your Man 2 CD's? My Toronto shows are still in their packaging!

It's opened, but I somehow wish I didn't open it. The shrink wrap didn't look that good anyway - it was flapping over the top quite a bit.

What songs from Binaural do you think are 'clunkers'?
  3. Evacuation (Matt Cameron isn't the greatest songwriter) and Sleight of Hand (just doesn't work for me - sorry, Ed) are the two that come to mind...Soon Forget is just okay - should be the final song on the album - kind of like Married with Children from Oasis's Definitely Maybe....I've recently gained appreciation for Rival.
  4. I'll admit Evacuation is bad. I don't mind Sleight of Hand though, and Rival is strangely satisfying - no idea why.

I'd say Evacuation is the only wank song on the album really.

Rival is much better live - as is most of the album - but this one really stands out (for me) in from of an audience. Two other songs that are good - just not great for me - are God's Dice and Thin Air. I like them - I really do - but I definitely don't "love" them.

I agree, and Sleight Of Hand sounds very very very good live...Chicago 10.09.00 comes to mind....and Oslo 06.29.00....as top live versions..
