I would be surprised if they did a full-on tour (a la 2000, 2003, or 2006) ever again. It might be nice if they (after a new album comes out) did a tour that was a little longer - like do ALL of Europe (include Portugal, Spain, of course, Italy, amongst others) along with the ones they aleady covered, take a relatively short break, tour both the East and West sides (and the middle) of North America and eventually get to the Australia and NZ again (they must be getting an itch for some PJ by now).

60 shows in a span of three or four months might be a lot to ask from them at this point but maybe at least do it within a single calendar year - to promote their new album, of course.
  3. Thats what Im saying Matt.Tour fullon as Pearl Jam,nothing extra. Then the following year,do as you please..some solo gigs for EV,Brad can gig.Tres Mts etc....

EV released Ukulele over a year ago,he's still doing solo gigs this year.He should have toured it like crazy after it came out.

When Backspacer was released in 09,they did a few gigs,stopped..went to Australia and were done for 09.Then they watied 6 months for some reason, and toured the US for only 2 weeks in May 2010.Does that make any sense ? Is it me ?
  4. Matt, the 2008 gigs are great.MSG X2,Hartford and Bonaroo are great shows. My point was,why bother to tour for 2 weeks, and thats it for the year ? They had no album out,and they werent road testing songs,as Radiohead did on their short run in 2006.

My point was its like a tease.DMB tour every year as well (sans 2011),release or no release. But its a fullon tour, not just 2 weeks.
  5. Wow. BOTH the Werchter and Arras gigs are available for download already!

    No pressure....no pressure....

I just get excited about these kind of things!
  6. I'll buy Arras tomorrow night if that's okay with everyone.
  7. Awesome!
  8. nice .. Werchter is almost on the way ..
  9. I wonder if they (pj.com) will continue to release two bootlegs per week or if they just wanted to get these two festival shows "out of the way?"
  10. i prefer them releasing one per week

    uhm Wash opening .. delicious
  11. i've just realised that i missed (and glad to ) the Philly "folly" .. i completely forgot it or did i want to forget? hehehe
i'm getting too old .. hehe

  12. I tend to agree. It gives us more time to "absorb" the show.

Once they are all released, I plan to have a Euro2012 marathon - well, half-marathon since there are only 13 shows.
