    "Breath" is a classic PJ song. Check out one of their Camdem 2000 shows (the only time the song was played out of about 70 shows!) at pearljambootlegs.org (legal!) where Eddie introduces the song something along the lines,"OK fuckers, we'll give it a try."

  2. I must remember this the next time PJ does back-to-back shows in T.O.

    PJ,are really a band where it is 'worth it" to see them 2 times same tour,a no brainer in the same city Matt.U2 on the other hand,arent.

    I was lucky in my youth Matt,lol.I saw the band so many times from 1985-1987 (I saw them 16 times in 2 years!!!)...and that # would have been higher if they toured the US in '89 (Lovetown).I waited 5 years,from 1987 - 1992 to see them,so I went off in 1992 !!!

    In 1993 they didnt tour here again ( Zooropa)..for some reason,they blew us off.I went 5 years, 1992-1997,without seeing them,because they didnt tour here.Pop was released,and I only went once,compared to 10 times in '87 and 10 again '92.Obviously,my interest in them was very low by 1997 really.I was an Oasis,Radiohead,Blur,DMB and of course,PJ nut by then.

  5. I have been listening to the (2012) Arras show over the past day. I think it's a pretty solid little show. Lots of classic tunes were played (including, ironically enough, "Alive" and "YLB" to close) and played quite well. It's definitely better than the Werchter show, that's for sure. Probably the best of the three festival shows.

    Prague is next!
  6. Im still listening to Dam 2,amazing gig......and the free stream of DMB Away From The World (released tomorrow..woo hoo) on iTunes....

    Festival gigs are what they are Matt..I thought PJs performance at the IOW was good,the weekend was great,Elbow and Madness were great,as was the Chief ............and The Boss of course as usual,stole the weekend,and was amazing...

  9. Have you seen any non-PJ shows with PJ members (aside from Soundgarden, of course)? I have to admit, my interest is low with in comes to Brad and RNDM.
  10. no never .. it should be very close to my home (minutes .. even if the venue hasn't been announced yet) on a saturday so i don't see any reason for not going
    i'm sincerely much more interested in seeing Stone than the Brad hehe
    it seems i succeed to see the boys one by one lately sigh sigh
  11. I'm sure they'll play Italy again soon...hopefully they have a semi-big tour in 2013 but seeing that they were just in Europe, I wouldn't be surprised of it wasn't until 2014.
  12. 2-3 weeks tour in US and then some other (few) dates (festivals?) after the release of the album
