  2. Nice tour there... I doubt it'll ever happen though. I think they're comfortable with the "a little tour here and there"-format. I'm fine with that. They probably want to be with family more than you are on big world tours. Not wanting to get Eddie's voice burnt out could be a factor too. And just not feeling like doing a big world tour, which can probably make you a bit crazy. They probably just want to chill out a bit more.

    They're pretty old, we should be glad they're still at it.

    I completely understand where you're coming from but the fact they are all doing some sort of side-project (and tours with them) make me think they have the energy for a 50-or-so date tour within. I'm not too sure how nuts EV gets with his voice during his solo performances but I'm sure he belts a few out through the show.
  8. They without question,could do 50 + gigs a year..if you look at EV 's solo gigs,plus PJ its close to that....plus,Matt has Soundgarden..and Stone and Jeff have their side projects...its too much IMO...

    If I could guess,Id say Stone and Jeff,plus Mike, would rather do PJ related work,and not solo....its just a feeling I have..its EV wanting to do solo shows..

    But yes,they have families and such..even Dave Matthews slowed it down last year..they played 12 gigs on the Caravan Tour,first time in 20 yrs they didnt play a full tour..even this year, their summer tour was a bit short for them, at 43 gigs.Now they have a new album out now,and as of today..no gigs..strange..

    EV solo is great Matt...you have to catch him in the future..Im still upset my Florida gigs were cancelled in May....
