1. yessssssssssssssssssssssss
  2. For me Matt, the best Euro boots from 2000 are,Milan,Prague,Berlin,Hamburg,Cardiff,Verona,Katowice 2..I like Austria,Norway and Sweden as well...

    The N.American boots..I love Chicago,East Troy,Detroit,Boise,Pitt,Pilly 1 and 2,Columbus ,St Louis,San Diego,Fresno and both N2 and N3 Jones Beach gigs...all are mandatory listens IMO.Both Seattle gigs are very solid,but way overrated IMO.

I went to Barcelona (great time, great people),London 1 & 2 (wild wild times) and Milan in Europe, and all 3 Jones Beach gigs.....loved all of them, but Milan was the best, hands down, above all of my shows..fav alltime gig from PJ,(and yes, that includes Randalls 96).I was able to do alot when we only had 1 child, back in 2000..lol.I saw Oasis that Summer as well in Europe.2000 was a great year.

San Sabastian is solid... until disc 2,mistakes are all over it..but its worth a listen...
  3. Stockholm has been sent out. If anyone who should get it hasn't, PM me.

Crap...that's a lot more than 10 gigs. I forgot about the Berlin and Prague gigs.

    "Ed-Man" has struck again!
  5. I'm a bit annoyed at how low the audience is in the mix.
  6. Lol, this is funny. Rockin' In The Free World just came on. I realized I'm wearing the same Beatles t-shirt today listening to it on the boot for the first time as I was when I heard it in concert... and when I performed it myself on my class' cabaret.
  7. what the hell were you doing with a Beatles tshirt at a PJ show???

It's hard to only pick..... say...6 gigs out of 72....but IMO,those that I listed are the best...I will try with these....not an easy task...LOL

Milan,Prague and Berlin are my top 3 for Europe.

Chicago,Boise and Philly 2 are my top 3 for N.America.....

But, any of the gigs on my other list, you can argue are as good,if not better, than these gigs...its subjective....I love that Pitt show Matt..09.05.00.....so if you told me its better than Philly 2 or Boise,it would be hard to argue.....

Bottom line, you have alot of gigs to listen to....LOL
  9. I'm a bit embarrassed. I think my zeal for the San Sebastian show came from the fact that U2 played an epic concert there in 2010.

    I will go with:
Europe: Milan, Verona, Prague, Berlin, and Katowice 2
North America 1: Jones Beach, 2&3 (and probably 1), Camden 1&2, and Pittsburgh
North America 2: Detroit, East Troy, Chicago, San Diego, and Boise

Of course, there's a good chance this won't even begin until 2013.
  10. While were at it, rank the tours:
    2000 vs 2003 vs 2006 vs 2009
  11. 2000,2006,2009,2003
  12. Probably for different reasons than you, Ed - I was on the PJ sidelines during the last decade - I think I agree with your order even though I haven't listened to that many shows from 2000 or 2006.

Aside from the five shows in Italy, which 2006 shows are considered classics by die-hard, long-time PJ fans? In other words, which ones get the Ed-Man classification?
