I just got back from a jog in Battery Park....this storm,SANDY, is already kickin crazy winds here in Manhattan.....Sandy is some strong bitch...my building, here in TriBeCa, is having a storm party on the roof now.cookin,drinkin..classic..lol....schools are closed tomorrow here in NYC..hold on east coast !!!

We had our Suck it Sandy Hurricane Party.....got a bit too windy up on the roof,so we moved indoors...looks like NYC will get a direct hit tomorrow.....not good...I did have time to have a cigar,and listen to MSG 2 Matt on the rooftop......lol

Last night,we took our Suck It Sandy party to the local watering hole,as it was getting way too windy on our rooftop.I noticed a huge line,outide the liquor store,here in Manhattan.They stayed open late,so everyone could stock up on booze.(I had already stocked up on my wine ,earlier in the day.Obviously,these people were amatures at storm preparedness.. LOL) I stopped in the local deli,for a spring water (always have to have some water when I drink) it was empty,and they were stocked with food,water and bread....It is nice to see everyone with their priorities straight....LOL

A tree just flew right down the middle of Hudson steet, here in TriBeCa........wow...thank God nobody was there...zero cars on the road,except for emergency vehicles......more strong wind now..lights just went out,and came back on....I already lost half my lights,cant lose the other half....
Watched some news and saw some really huge waves. Does seem like the storm us thankfully not quite living up to the hype though, thankfully. Can't help but think of Katrina whenever one of these come up. Almost two thousand lost.
