    (That's just my own envy kicking in. I can't believe how many great artists are performing tonight. I'm very surprised that U2 doesn't have representation at this event.)

    I agree......and Bono and Edge live here ,or at least they own mega apts in Manhattan,and spend a lot of time here.

    My friend Chris came in yesterday from London,he got the tickets as he usually does for something big....It's amazing, he lives in England,and I live a few miles from MSG and he got the tickets.....its nice to know people..LOL

Whats funny Matt is,we met by chance at an Oasis gig in early 1996,at the old Paramount (inside MSG)I,I think it was in March of that year.He was seated next to me and my wife,he was with his future wife..we all hit it off,went out for drinks after..and thats that.we have the same taste in music,he also loves PJ and Radiohead....since then we became good mates (as he says it) and we go to concerts all the time.I have flown over the pond many times since then,and he and his family have done the same,and ahve stayed with me and my family, here in Manhattan.

    Twice this year I headed over to London,crashed at his place,stayed with him and his family,and saw Noel G in Feb at the O2,and PJ in Manchester and also the IOW shows in June...that really helps,as I didnt have to spend a dime on a hotel.

    So yes,I agree....its nice to know people,especially someone with connections...lol

  12. No, he wasn't, he didn't sing the long notes how they're meant. But it was a great performance anyway. And in this kind of events, the "being there doing that" factor is far more important than anything else.
