  2. No,DMB tour more than any band over the last 15 years actually.They played 43 dates over the Summer,which is short for DMB.They all have families,and are cutting back on dates.

    This short winter tour,is actually a full tour for PJ these days.

  4. I think all he meant was,he wished they could have toured a bit longer.But,being it was the holidays and all,they couldnt.

    They (DMB) have always toured like mad.PJ for the last 6-7 years,havent.

    Its been close to 3 years since they last played a "tour" in the States.I dont count the 4 dates in Sept,that was festivals,and it wasnt a tour.May 2010,was a tour,and only 13 gigs.IMO,that was a tease.

I know alot of you feel "its better than nothing".That is true,but the way I look at it is ,why get a crew,roadies,all the merch people etc,to go out for 3 weeks,and thats a wrap,for the entire year in the States.Even worse,they released Backspacer in Sept '09,and only played 4 gigs on the east coast (Philly),played Australia in Nov,then stopped touring for 6 months.How was that supporting Backspacer ?

    Whats even more perplexing,is the non release of the Alpine gigs ,from Sept 2011.These shows were a celebration of PJ20.Cornell guested,and no,we wont release them.As we all know,PJ have releasesd basically every show since 2000.So,whats the deal with these show from Alpine ?

    But hey,at least its good to know Brad are touring Europe...LOL
