    There are zero legal issues.Just as long as we arent selling the shows,or our mixes, of these gigs.Stone,Jeff and EV,are on record,saying they support fans sharing gigs.The main reason PJ sell all there shows,since 2000,was the simple fact,a friend of the band showed them a bootleg,selling for a shitload of money,in 1999.EV was pissed,and said,we will beat the bootleggers.We will sell all our gigs for now on.I heard an old interview, on PJ radio, the other day.Stone was sayin.."he loves the fans sharing their shows...just dont fuckin sell them"...

  2. I'd love a couple shows as well. I have the Chicago show from 1995 that I think was in this topic (it was somewhere on the site). I've never uploaded anything either so I can't help with that. Also, Amy recommendations for the shows I can buy on iTunes. I'd love to get a couple shows there too.

    Yes.For starters...Grand Rapids,05.19.06,Auburn Hills,05.22.06 and San Francisco,07.15.06.....classic shows.Drop the $9.99 on each show,without hesitation.....you will love them......

    Also,you can download the whole tour,on pearljambootlegs.org...The European gigs are amazing.I prefer the Italian shows..They are some of the bands best ever..IMHO of course......also look for the Honolulu show,on 12.02.06...nothing short of fantastic....
  4. The five gigs in Italy in 2006 are huge, MSG (2 shows) and Mansfield (3 shows) in July of 2003 are great, and read the last few pages of this thread and you will get more than enough recommendations for 2000. Also, Melbourne 1998 is a great sounding bootleg.

    Definitely go to pearljambottlegs.org. You can get entire shows or just download single tracks (if you're looking for that rare performance of a song like WMA or All Those Yesterdays). I'm not too sure why but it always takes me a couple of tries to access the site. I get some sort of "oops" error message but after repeated clicking on the link, I eventually arrive at one of the greatest places on the Invalid url 'http://www -' [edit] not as great as this place of course.

I have almost every bootleg,from 2000-2010.My next mad set,after N.America 2000,will be the N.American 2003 Tour.....then I will move on to Canada 2005...another favorite tour for me.I saw the band in 2005,Montreal (also went to Montreal 2011)..loved it.Maybe,the best version of Black,from that gig.Im biased..yes..but if you get a chance..check it out...love this band.


    I was looking at the 2005 Canadian Tour last week. Looked like a good one. Can't believe they played Newfoundland - and for two nights!

    Not a problem.Ask anytime.Today I listened to the Virginia Beach gig,08.03.00.This is the first show of the N.American tour and first after the tragedy in Denmark.Very emotional show.Band opens with Long Road.Its a fantastic somber version.There are many slow tunes at this gig.Daughter is amazing.Almost 9 min long.The "its ok" bit sounds like EV talkin to himself.This show,IMO,is a must listen.Great version of Off He Goes as well....
  8. Like a bunch of U2 tunes, "Daughter" now seems incomplete without its snippet, namely, "It's OK." Also need "Modern Girl" at the end of "Not For You."

  10. Merkinball, only. It's sort of like a b-side to "I Got Shit" (aka "I Got Id" ). Unfortunately, neither track was included on the Lost Dogs compilation."Leatherman" was another suspicious ommision.

    Very true.I love both of those snippets....I just listened to a great rockin version of Not For You,08.18.00 Indianapolis.The Modern Girl snippet isnt there,and I noticed that.But its still a kick ass hard version.

    I have always loved the way PJ can rock out,then slow things down,ala Led Zep.The Indy shows main set ends with a crazy hard version of Go.Then the encore starts with a beautiful version of Throw Your Arms Around Me.EV solo.Then, the whole band rip into Do The Evolution...classic stuff...


  12. Released in 1995 as a single.With I Got Id (shit).Its long out of print.But,you can find it on Ebay,usually for very cheap.I saw it a while back for $1....
