PM me with intructions, and I will be glad to upload my mix for you and the good people in these forums.... I have almost every bootleg, from 2000-2010.My next mad set, after N.America 2000,will be the N.American 2003 Tour.....then I will move on to Canada 2005...another favorite tour for me.I saw the band in 2005,Montreal (also went to Montreal 2011)..loved it.Maybe, the best version of Black, from that gig.Im biased..yes..but if you get a chance..check it out...love this band.

I was looking at the 2005 Canadian Tour last week. Looked like a good one. Can't believe they played Newfoundland - and for two nights!
  2. Thanks for the suggestions. I looked around at pearljambootlegs and it looked good, so I'll download some of what you all suggested. I am downloading Auburn Hills right now. I'll take a listen to it tomorrow. Can't wait.

Not a problem.Ask anytime.Today I listened to the Virginia Beach gig,08.03.00.This is the first show of the N.American tour and first after the tragedy in Denmark.Very emotional show.Band opens with Long Road. Its a fantastic somber version. There are many slow tunes at this gig.Daughter is amazing.Almost 9 min long. The "its ok" bit sounds like EV talkin to himself. This show,IMO,is a must listen.Great version of Off He Goes as well....
  4. Like a bunch of U2 tunes, "Daughter" now seems incomplete without its snippet, namely, "It's OK." Also need "Modern Girl" at the end of "Not For You."
  5. What album is Long Road from? Really enjoyed it as an opener
  6. Merkinball, only. It's sort of like a b-side to "I Got Shit" (aka "I Got Id" ). Unfortunately, neither track was included on the Lost Dogs compilation."Leatherman" was another suspicious ommision.

Very true.I love both of those snippets....I just listened to a great rockin version of Not For You,08.18.00 Indianapolis. The Modern Girl snippet isnt there, and I noticed that. But its still a kick ass hard version.

I have always loved the way PJ can rock out, then slow things down, ala Led Zep.The Indy shows main set ends with a crazy hard version of Go.Then the encore starts with a beautiful version of Throw Your Arms Around Me.EV solo. Then, the whole band rip into Do The Evolution...classic stuff...

  8. Released in 1995 as a single. With I Got Id (shit). Its long out of print. But,you can find it on Ebay, usually for very cheap.I saw it a while back for $1....
  9. I don't have a lot of "extra" Pearl Jam stuff (or from any other band for that matter) but I do own the Merkinball EP. Had it specially ordered from the local Sam The Record Man back in 1999 because I had to have "I Got Shit." (This was just before one could easily access music files via the internet).

Also, have the "Jeremy" single (with "Footsteps" and "Yellow Ledbetter" b-sides) and that's it...unless you count the Singles soundtrack.
  10. From '91-'96 I pretty much bought everything they put out. After No Code though,I stopped.I didnt like the studio versions on No Code at all.I saw them at Randalls Island in '96, and love the live versions of No Code's songs.Same thing happened with Yeild. The studio tracks sound dull,IMO.Therefor,I didnt buy the singles from both releases.Who You Are was a terrible choice for a single.

You can hear such a difference between the studio, and live versions.I attended the infamous MSG show,09.11.98.Some have said, thats their best show ever.Check the setlist out on PJ.com.Given To Fly was insane.I was like, that sounds amazing...LIVE.Since that show,GTF is one of my favorite PJ songs. The studio version sounds like a demo.

IMO both those releases might have done better if they were recorded cleaner, similar to 10 and Vs .
  11. I recently downloaded a 1996 Randall's Island show (can't remember wich one of the two). Admittedly, haven't taken the time to listen to it although I obvioulsy should.

What made the MSG show from 1998 "infamous?"

Well,so many people have said, over the years, that its "THE" show by the band.It was fanatastic.I was there.Their performance was stellar.Eddies voice was more incredible than usual. But,I thought 08.25.00,Jones Beach was as good,if not better.Same goes for the Randall's Island gig,09.29.96 I went to.Performance wise, all 3 are amazing. The only bad thing about Randall's ,was the sound. It was good, but MSG and even Jones Beach sounded better.Alot of the PJ diehards disagree with me on that. Most feel the 1998 Yeild Tour was the bands best.It was great. But I liked the 1996 Tour, and even the 2000 Tour a bit more. But,thats just me,and my opinion of the tours themselves.I would rank those 3 tours in the top 5 alltime.

I like No Code alot,LIVE,so Im biased towards the '96 gig. Also, check out the Jones Beach 08.25.00 show,N3.Very heavy on the No Code tunes.....

I have had the good fortune of being in attendance, at many of their great gigs. Those three above, also 07.08.03 MSG, and both nights last spring,05.20 and 21.10....MSG....

I also loved Montreal 2005 and Montreal 2011.....
