That is a great price.Both are solid releases.I think the songs off Yeild,like No Code,sound better live.Listen to Given to Fly studio,then listen to it live.PJ,for some reason,tried to get away from their sound,after jamming with Neil Young in 1995,things changed bigtime.
What happened to the loud slamming guitars,booming drums,EVs wild vocals ?.Maybe "Uncle Neil", during the Mirror Ball sessions,told them to cool things down.I Got Id is a bit restrained sounding,IMO.
I noticed this,LACK OF QUALITY SOUND, on Vitalogy, prior to the Mirror Ball sessions.The clean sound,was gone.A couple of the songs had a "demo-like" quality about them.Example being...Bugs....IMO that is PJs WTF moment.....
