Yes,I also loved the Simple Minds in the early 80s, up until maybe 95,last solid single was She's A River from them...and Big Country had a few great tunes in the 80s as well......so yeah, the Irish and Scotch had my ear as well....LOL
  3. For me:
Simple Minds = Breakfast Club (sorry)

What do you think, Ed? I have my next review ready but I don't want to leave Ron behind!
  4. If its ok,we should wait a week Matt,I have business in Boca Raton,Fl starting tomorrow, until Sunday.

On Monday (the 18th) we can resume, hopefully with a couple of shows that day.
  5. Reading here and there, is it true that currently there's no arena that could host PJ in Seattle?
  6. The Key Arena is there, its open and in Seattle
  7. That'd be a real shame if it's true. What happened to the place where the Supersonics used to play? Where will a new team in Seattle play? Rumour has it that the Sacremento Kings might be going there.
  8. Rihanna is playing at the Key Arena in April,Maroon 5 in March..etc
  9. ^Just an earlier post saying that there are no arenas in Seattle for the band to play in.

I'm still very grumpy about not getting tickets for the London show. I psyched myself up for going and am let down that I didn't get tickets using "traditional" methods. However, there's a silver lining here: This gives me time to see what lies ahead in the fall. If they play Toronto, I'll go for sure (hopefully get tickets online, however). If they skip Toronto (which I can sort of understand if they do given that they will have already played nearby and they need to play other places like NYC, Boston, Seattle, Southern California, etc.), I will find a (probably costly) way of getting a ticket to London.
  10. Was somewhere on the 10C forum in the many threads on where they should play in the fall, from a local. We'll see, can't follow that many thousand miles away . Just keep hoping, but guess those tickets will be the hottest tickets of the tour. Else MSG or Red Rocks would be quite some experience as well.
