1. The Key Arena is there, its open and in Seattle
  2. That'd be a real shame if it's true. What happened to the place where the Supersonics used to play? Where will a new team in Seattle play? Rumour has it that the Sacremento Kings might be going there.
  3. Rihanna is playing at the Key Arena in April,Maroon 5 in March..etc
  4. ^Just an earlier post saying that there are no arenas in Seattle for the band to play in.

I'm still very grumpy about not getting tickets for the London show. I psyched myself up for going and am let down that I didn't get tickets using "traditional" methods. However, there's a silver lining here: This gives me time to see what lies ahead in the fall. If they play Toronto, I'll go for sure (hopefully get tickets online, however). If they skip Toronto (which I can sort of understand if they do given that they will have already played nearby and they need to play other places like NYC, Boston, Seattle, Southern California, etc.), I will find a (probably costly) way of getting a ticket to London.
  5. Was somewhere on the 10C forum in the many threads on where they should play in the fall, from a local. We'll see, can't follow that many thousand miles away . Just keep hoping, but guess those tickets will be the hottest tickets of the tour. Else MSG or Red Rocks would be quite some experience as well.
  6. I hope they announce the "fall dates" before the London show....I really have no opinion on a fall tour,if there is no new material, for me its no big deal...as far as Im concerned, the 2010 MSG gigs will not be topped for me..

3 1/2 years with no PJ shows in Manhattan is weak,as is blowing off Seattle for 4 years, assuming they play Seattle and NYC this fall...

  7. The intro and most of the guitar part reminds you of what song? :)

Given that they've given nearly six months notice for the two July shows, I certainly hope that they'll announce any fall shows before them.

I can understand your need for new material. I, on the other hand, don't really care either way. I'd hate to miss a show where they open with Release, close with Indifference, and play Immortality in between...I state these three tunes as they are a few of my favourites these days and none of them were played in Toronto a year and a half ago...not that I went to both shows...
  9. I hear you Matt,I'd take any PJ show with those 3 tunes you mentioned...the new material isn't even a sore spot with me,as DMB toured like crazy in 06,07 and 08 with no new material, since the awful Stand Up was released in 05...the 08 tour is one of my favorites for DMB and PJ...its just too bad PJs 08 tour was so short (13 all yr I believe),cause they were on fire,as they were in 2010.

I'm just in one of my juvenile pissy moods towards PJ...one show all summer in the US is so ridiculous...In 2011 the DMB forums had a sissy fit, when it was announced they were playing ONLY four, 3 night stands in 4 cities, called the DMB Caravan...NJ,Chicago,the Gorge and NYC...those shows were amazing.
  10. Wow..THREE nights...I'd be in trouble if PJ played three nights around here - either from my wife for going to all three or from you for NOT going to all three.
