Your smartphone/tablet/laptop must be better than mine!
  8. Hi guys, how have you been?

I have to say I attended the second show, so I got my 2 favorite songs and I'm so happy for it! Given To Fly and Better Man...No words to describe my feelings during those songs...

I also have to say that I had one of the best concerts of my life. I always liked Pearl Jam, but now I have to say they're one of my favorite bands. They have so much energy live, and those guitars really can make you feek something different. I was so happy because I could see one of the best PJ's setlist according to my friends (I only missed Doughters, but it's ok since they played 30 songs and 2 and a half hours).

You already saw the setlist, so I'm going to post a song that made me cry last night. It's my brother favorite song, and he's traveling in Australia since August, so I really miss him here at home. I started hearing those chords and I almost felt my brother with me at Morumbi Stadium. It was lovely!

I'm happy to share mt thoughts with you since your predictions about my first Pearl Jam expirience were totally right!

    Greetings from Brazil

  9. Hey Aidan .. i'm glad we weren't wrong but i think none of us had any doubt about it.
the only way to fully understand what experience is PJ live is to be in a venue where they're playing .. rhetorical words maybe but nothing but the truth.
hope this will be first of a list for you
thank you for sharing the vid
that song with that arpeggios and that voice goes straight to the heart much more with your assumptions i guess

    good shot man
  10. Seeing them live really is something. I don't mean to sound like I am "dissing" U2 (they'll always be #1 to me - just not so much these days) but just watching those five (plus one) guys just play without all the props and gadgets makes you remember what a rock concert should be all about - the music.
  11. Well, I did it!

I hope it works and sounds okay - and there's no legal issues with it. I have no intention of making any money off this - I just wanted to share.

    A few things:

    1. I initially made it for me so it has my personal favourites. I am not a huge fan of "Avocado" (I don;t hate it, just don't love it). For this reason, there are only four songs from that album on it, which may be a bit low.

    2. There aren't any Binaural or Riot Act songs on the two discs. I am saving them for the 2000 and 2003 compilations that I will be making soon. In fact, I will upload my Mexico 2003 mix within a couple of days.

    3. These Italy 2006 and Mexico 2003 mixes were meant to be sort of companion pieces. What I mean is that although the "war horses" (e.g., Alive, Daughter, Corduroy, etc.) are repeated in the two compilations, I was only able to fit some great songs on only one of them - often because they weren't played at just one of the series of shows or I simply I just didn't have room for them.

    4. I editted out a lot of the crowd noise between the songs and the majority of Eddie's speeches simply in favour of being able to include more tracks this way.

    5. Most of the transitions between the songs are pretty solid but there are a few that I wish I could have made better.

    Anyway, enjoy.

    This one's for you, Ronnie.

  12. you hit the point!
PJ embody the real and pure concept of Rock concert at the best level .. i can hardly think of someone else doing it in the same way .. probably Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi.
U2 should exhume the spirit they had in the 80's and partially in the Elevation
