1. NICE!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Whats the deal here people ?

    This place is dead.............not good........

Between DMB shows, I have been listening to a lot of the 2000 tour. I cant believe it has been 13 years already.WOW. I admit, I haven't listened to the classic Katowice gig in ages....so I did today, almost 13 years to the day....here is a quick review.

    Katowice, Poland 06.16.00 N2

This show was apparently scheduled at the last minute, as Pearl Jam had to cancel a show planned for Budapest on the same evening. So they decided to stay in the college town of Katowice, Poland, where they played a full show the previous night, and put on this surprise performance.

It really was a surprise, as only a few thousand people showed up. So it turned out to be a very quiet and intimate evening, with the band deciding to give some special treats to the small crowd of rabid fans.

This evening starts off with four straight ballads, including a majestic take on a portion of "Release" to start the show (EV forgets to sing the second verse, and the band just skips that whole portion of the song). When the rockers finally emerge, Pearl Jam deliver one of the most devastating performances of the tour.

Special treats are crushing renditions of the rarities "Immortality," "I Got Shit," and "Smile," which are performed rarely elsewhere in the tour; bruising takes on the rockers "Hail Hail" and "Last Exit." Some other surprises are "Soldier of Love" and "Leaving Here" which the band decided to pull out of mothballs for this special evening.

This particular bootleg is nothing short of brilliant.

This is clearly one of the most amazing gigs of the series.

    5 stars without question.
  3. so are you (both or others too) gonna buy Vault #3?
i will but still don't know if now or after the holidays .. buying it now it will likely arrive when i'll be out hehe
  4. I might/should buy Vault #3 and even though it's only 10 bucks, I'm trying to save as much money as possible so I can purchase two London tickets on stubhub - relatively crummy seats are still over $200 each!

Have any of you ever purchased tickets through stubhub? It's one thing to pay two to three times the cost of a ticket. I can live with that. However, it's another to find out that the tickets aren't legit - especially for a concert that is two and a half hours away.
  5. Stub hub is legit Matt....I used them for Mets tix and DMB tix for a Citi Field concert in 2010

If the ticket is bogus they will take care of you

I thought you were going solo. ?

The reason tix are so much is because PJ are only play 2 frigging shows all summer , they created this hype for the gigs.....

Hartford is actually 150 miles from NYC and it was well worth it ,as I had pit tix with the wife....

Go to that show if you can swing it....
  6. I went back as far as a page and didn't see this, so I'll share:

New Pearl Jam single to be released on July 16.

EDIT: Of course I go back two pages and there it is, plastered all over the place. Don't mind me.

My brother-in-law (wife's brother) is willing to go with me - he went to school in London so he knows the area much better than me.

I'm simply watching the prices of the tickets slowly decrease in value - the cheapest ones were over $300 a few months ago. They are at about $230 right now. I'm hoping they'll go down a bit more over the next two weeks - I suppose I shouldn't wait too long, however.
  8. pearljam.com unavailable?
  9. pre-sale is running then hehehe

anyway one second it works second after doesn't
  10. not the best footage .. nevertheless ...
    13 years ...

  11. Is $250 too much for a PJ ticket (bad seats, too)? I have to double that since I'm planning to take my brother-in-law to the show for his 30th b-day.
  12. $250 for just one ticket? Or two?
