1. Man, 250 bucks for a bad seat is awful, unless it's a bad seat in your garden and the band are playing a private show or something
  2. 250 for a bad seat doesnt sound good to me..but its the hype..cause PJ are only playing 2 shows all summer.....its false hype..its bullshit IMO.
  3. Of course I speak from my own side of the world and finnancial situation, but I would never, ever, pay more than 150 bucks for a concert. or ANY concert. Maybe if U2 announce a final show I would bang bigger money than that...... But it's U2, and it's a very crucial situation. Other than that, I woulnd't pay more than a 10% of a standard salary (e.g. 150€ for the standard 1500€ month pay) for a 2 hour concert. Never. It's plain crazy in my humble opinion.

That's just it...I've been waiting for them to announce the fall dates and locations. Although I'd see them twice in one year, I'd rather not spend too much on one of the shows - especially three times the face value of the tickets.

I'm just wondering if the remaining stubhub tickets will drop in price by the end of the month - somehow I doubt it.

I appreciate what you are saying, Sergio. However, I find that the older I get (and therefore the more and more and more and more of my $$$$ is spend on things I don't really want but have to buy for my house, kids, etc.) the more I "justify" spending a little extra for myself - because it doesn't happen that often.

Plus I bet you spend more $$$ on pints at the local pub than I do!
  6. I think they will drop in value Matt closer to the show date....also, keep checking the ticket sites for a ticket drop. Ticketmaster just dropped a bunch of Orch seats to one of DMB s Jones Beach shows that Im going to next week.

My wife's gf bought a few tix, we already have seats but now more of our friends can go..so keep checking.
  7. Huh, that's a part of the discussion I didn't know of. So it's 250$ for a ticket and not even worse they're SCALPER tickets?!?!?! Man if you bang that money we're ending our virtual friendship here and now!

Just kidding (in a sense)... But you get my point - as I get yours. But man, you only have to wait for the dates and then get regular tickets at a normal price...

Are most stubhub tickets electronic ones? My initial concern was that I needed to ensure that there's enough time for the tix to get to me by the day of the show.

I suppose with all the posting in this thread I've done over the past two years I'd feel like a bit of a "fraud" not going to the show!

Here in Spain they're just plain paper tickets that are put on sale and then shipped by certificate mail. Don't know if it will be the same in the other side of the pond though, not sure if e-tickets are very common there or not.
  11. Most are E tix..but some are still hard tickets..it depends....
  12. You might want to go solo Matt...if tix are that high....
