    and whats with this "countdown" ?...its like they want to build up all this..."hype"...and make people scramble and pay to join the fanclub etc....imo, if your into the band, join the club, its there for the perks....I don't need to be teased about a countdown..they usually are a letdown.... just make an announcement and be on with it...

    they need to do a real fucking tour for a change....but I don't ever see that happening again....

  7. I just don't get the playing 1 gig in the US and 1 gig in Canada this summer....not saying you shouldn't go, or people in the Chicago area shouldn't go..I just don't understand it....I don't know any other bands who do this..

    DMB spoil me I guess, with all their touring over the years...
  8. I can appreciate your frustration/confusion, Ed. My brother-in-law (who I'm going with to the London show) is baffled (but also very excited) why they are only playing these two shows and no others.

    Hopefully all of your recent disappointment with the band will be put to rest with a couple of classic shows in NYC this fall!
  9. Im sure they will be great in NYC, and all else where they play.

    I just cant see getting all those roadies,lighting techs etc, out on the road for just 2 gigs..but whatever...if they were playing at Yankee Stadium (or in Florida) I would go.....
