1. congrats to the North-Americans .. and sorry for you Peter .. like i claim since a while there's not much thankfulness in Seattle lately for Europeans (usually for the poors in the south) and this is another demonstration... at least from the main acts
good luck for the public sales .. Seattle/Spokane will be some hell of concerts
  2. Thanks Ronnie, well some win and some lose, also happy for the Americans. Strange to read to some people win a show which they had as 9th priority while others had that show as first and they didn't get it. Some people had 6 shows, seems all on the west coast wasn't that hard to get except for Seattle. Looks reserved seating was the way to go.

It's indeed strange that Italy doesn't get that many shows, it's my favourite holiday place and would never skip it . Last year it was Europe with great shows, so personally can't complain about that as most acts do come to Amsterdam. Let's see what happens in 2014 with PJ and off course a certain band from Dublin.

  3. actually Pearl Jam don't .. ALL the others yes .. i don't count the shitty festival of 2010
2009-10-12 .. european tours?? .. always the same few places (and Eddie
did the same .. luckily Stone exists hehe .. and also Mark Lanegan who i've seen again yesterday)

that certain people from Dublin know how a tour must be done
  4. Wow, Peter, I'm impressed. You are planning to fly across the Atlantic to see some shows.

    That's dedication - right, Ed?!

As great as it will be, I'm not even thinking about Buffalo until Wednesday - and I think my passport expires in September. I'd better get that renewed.

I only won for my first choice which was n2 in Bklyn. Ill go through ticketmaster for the Philly and Bklyn n1.

Well was planning that, but without tickets for Seattle that's a no. We decided not to go via ticketmaster, as you never know with what crap seats you end up and then the December weather isn't ideal either. Guess it's still the dissapointment haha, seems reserved seats was the way to go.

Sure...but Europe is an easy sell to my wife....and we have a place to stay in London with Chris being from there and all...so that cuts the cost in half....

I really want those Seattle shows..I did not request them...but I'am considering it..that will be a very difficult ticket to grab, almost impossible...maybe even for Chris...we will see....
  8. I think those two shows will be epic - akin to the ones at the end of the 2000 tour.

I'm curious about where they'll go in 2014. One would expect them to go to Australia (and New Zealand) around March. Back to Europe at some point. Maybe middle America. Also, fans in places like Indy, Minny, Cincy, St.Louis, and Denver are feeling a bit left out!

  9. I have a feeling that if say to my wife, "Let's spend Thanksgiving weekend in Buffalo!" she'll be unimpressed.

I'm going to have to "finesse" this one. Good thing it's not for three months.

They left out Florida....if they added WPB I would have been all over those shows...a nice excuse to get out of NYC in the fall and come to our summer place in Boca for a few days....my wife would have enjoyed that...besides that festival in Florida last year (which I don't really count) they haven't played Florida since 2008....
  11. I guess they figured that Florida and Georgia got shows in 2012 - mind you, they were festival shows and I can appreciate that it's not the same thing.
