Two tracks recorded during Pearl Jam’s 2006 self titled album recording sessions have leaked. One track is a midtempo souful song called “Cold Confession.” The song is pretty loose structure wise, it actually reminds me of the Mad Season songs that were released this year a bit sonically. There’s some really bluesy guitar riffs and an organ used that fills out the song sonically. Vedder sings, ‘Memory clear, cold confession that only he could hear.’ There’s other dark lines in the song like, ‘He let himself scream/He let himself cry.’ The songs also references a dark past and dark future. The track clocks in at 5:46.
“Let It Ride” actually reminds me of Riot Act, Ed’s phrasing and singing style sounds very reminiscent of this period. Ed tells the story of a woman in the song, ‘Like a book with no ending/read backwards to beginning.’ He sings the refrain ‘She’s gonna’ before hitting the chorus, the song really picks up halfway through. The song is 4:16 long.
It is "funny" to see ticketmaster is doing resale of just bought tickets. Was checking pre sale for Seattle Seahawks against New Orleans (just in case hehe), was sold out quick and then many tickets went into resale on the ticketmaster site. Is this normal or some form of legal scalping?
Wow, what an amazing song, even though I'm not particullarly fond of Ed's vocal style. What year is it from? I think I can hear some of "Black" in there, on Ed's vocal melodies and some of the chord progressions.
Depending on how you look at it, I am (un)fortunate enough to not worry about purchasing tickets this morning.
Why fortunate? I already got my Buffalo tickets in 10c draw and won't have to go through the tickets.com fiasco (this particular show isn't using ticketmaster!) to some.
Why unfortunate? The Buffalo show is the only one this fall that I can realistically go to!
I hope you (Nick) and Ed get all four (2xBrooklyn and 2xPhilly) shows!

Speaking of fall tour bootlegs, are we all going to try to pool our resources to get some of these?!?! I think it might be a bit unrealistic to attempt to get ALL of them but I'm definitely up for going in to get some of the "classic" shows - whichever they may end up being.
Wow. What a nightmare. Scored 2 to Bklyn n1. Forget about Philly through TM. Ill have to go through stubhub for that. Put me down for both Bklyn shows for the boots. Of course when the time comes someone will have to exain to me how to share them! Lol.
