1. It was a great performance of Bu$hleaguer so why omit it?
  2. There might be a copyright issue with the PJ20 release???????

  3. Ron, I was thinking about you the other day. (No, not in a weird way.)

A bunch of us are "celebrating" our upcoming PJ shows while others got to enjoy seeing the band last summer. You, my good man, also deserve to see them.

In all sincerity, have you not been to a PJ show since 2010? That's just doesn't seem right! It was YOU who started this insane thread in the first place!

They'd better get their asses to Italy in 2014 - for multiple shows in the north!
  4. i didn't attend that shitty festival in 2010 or any of the few otherdates .. i was about to chase U2 at that time hehe .. so my last is of 2006
i hope they will do a real tour next year if not .. fuck them! i will "comfort" myself again with the boys (hopefully) like last and this year with Bruce
  5. I can appreciate why you wouldn't attend a festival to see them - I highly doubt I would either, even it was in Toronto.

I've never been a huge concert-goer and I've only attended one festival (Lollapalooza, 1995...meh) and am quite sure that I'd never attend one again unless PJ, U2, RH, etc were ALL there- which is somewhat unlikely. Nowadays, I get to the stadium/arena shortly before the band goes and leave immediately after the final song is performed. I'm 40 now and have no desire to fight crowds.
  6. ^ all of that is understandable The thought of a festival featuring Radiohead, Pearl Jam and U2 has surely enough strenght to move something deep inside me but it's so implausible that it's laughable hahaha.

You'll def be seeing them next year. I'm sure they'll your lightning bolt in Europe. Be patient.
  8. Including the "usual" countries (England, France, Netherlands, Germany, etc.) I'd be willing to bet (not really) that PJ will also hit Ireland, the other UK countries, and the "big three" South-West European countries next year. Hopefully for Olof's sake (come back to this thread, Olof!) they'll also tour the north and even hit some of the Eastern European countries.

That's a lot of bootlegs we'll have to buy!
  9. Just out of curiosity, which are the "big three" SW European countries?

  10. Because a lot of people in the crowd (like me) took offense to it as many of us lived close to lower Manhattan and knew someone who died in the Twin Towers...and he has never made any mention of that..how about ripping Osama ??....

Im not going to get into a whole political argument.....he can have his feelings, but he went too far... the crowd was offended as thousands of fans (including me) walked out....he made a mistake, as the band went to the airwaves the next day (not EV) and said their apologies ,they did not make the same mistake at MSG.....

and if it wasn't for Chris, who flew in from London for the MSG shows that July..I would not have attended them....

According to setlist.fm, the following shows would be "eligible" for such a compilation:

    MSG 2, 2010
    MSG 1, 2010
    MSG 2, 2008
    MSG 1, 2008
    East Rutherford 2, 2006
    East Rutherford 1, 2006
    MSG 2, 2003
    MSG 1, 2003
Uniondale, 2003 (I'd omit that song)
    Jones Beach 3, 2000
    Jones Beach 2, 2000
    Jones Beach 1, 2000

I decided to NOT include "mini" performances like Irving Plaza or SNL 2006 as they are not available on an official bootleg.

You attended all 12 shows that I listed didn't you, Ed?

Yes I was at these shows...classic gigs...MSG 2010 & 2003 were amazing...Bklyn will be as good, if not better then MSG 2010....

The IOW Festival last year was amazing....PJ, Bruce, Noel, Elbow, Petty...so many bands that I like....Bruce and Noel stole the shows..PJ were very good....Chris hooked us up with backstage passes...so it was obviously a different experience, then someone who was stuck in the mud for 3 days....Man 2 is one of my favorite shows from last year..that was some trip, going to England for 9 days and seeing PJ 2 times....
