1. Well, I suppose that we all have our limits.

As hard as I try, the second five PJ albums will never "affect" me the same way the first five did. For any band, It's always comes down to a matter of taste as to whether or not their earlier music is better than their later music. However, the 1990's were THE decade of music FOR ME and Ten through Yield are soundtracks to a more impressionable time in my life.

All of this said, the past four albums still have some great tunes (especially Binaural) and I am hoping to find at least a few gems on Lightning Bolt.
  2. We have already found a gem from the album that isn't out yet – Sirens.

  3. Wow indeed, I really love the song.

Only the last ''Ahaa, ohooo'' part is a bit too long imo.

Thats easy..buy Ten and listen to it nonstop for a few days...then grab VS and follow the same steps as per Ten...after a few more days grab Vitalogy and you are set.

IMO those 3 are their best releases, and 3 of the best albums released in the last 20 yrs....

No Code and Yield are fantastic albums, but the songs sound a bit flat IMO...they come to life live, so you might want to check out Live on Two Legs before those studio releases. Especially GTF Red Mosquito Hail Hail and Evolution.

top 50 most played as per setlist.fm
  7. you should scale them with an algorithm that considers the time they're out
  8. Yeah, I've seen setlist fm. Cheers, but as I think clover was saying, I came to ask here cause I have no idea whether PJ actually still play all those top 50 songs still, or whether some are now only played every now and then although they might still be in their top 20 most played cause they were a staple in the 90s etc
  9. Classics like Deep, Garden, Oceans, Rats, and Leash (the first three of those from Ten, the other two from Vs) will likely get played only once or twice each on the tour. I'd be surprised if they got played in Australia seeing that they are festival shows.
  10. oct 8th at Late Show with Letterman
  11. I wonder if they will be on Jools Holland again at one point...
