  8. Just listening to The Fixer on my playlist trying to learn all these songs for when they are out here in January, and I have a question:

Did the Gaslight Anthem copy Pearl Jam's sound on that track, or did Pearl Jam copy the Gaslight Anthem? Because if someone credited that track to TGA I wouldn't think twice about it. I actually had to double check it was still PJ.

Was Yellow Ledbetter a tribute to Hendrix? Sounds quite a lot like his guitar work heavily influenced that one.
  9. If I'm trying to put these songs into a playlist that resembles roughly where each song was to appear in a concert, where would I put them all haha?

I've got the start and finish roughly sorted from what I know, but the rest I am lost with. If someone could take the time to arrange them into a semi-realistic order of how they may appear in the set it would be greatly appreciated!

    Start:

Hendrix is one of Stone Gossard's biggest influences so whatever you say will be spot on. YL sounds a lot like Hendrix indeed

Don't agree so much about The Fixer, but if some band has to influence the other I'd say it would be Pearl Jam over TGA. TGA have covered Pearl Jam quite a few times, Brian Fallon has declared to be obsessed over some PJ songs, etc.
  11. Ah yes, cheers my man
