  1. Good old days, in 2000 saw them in The Point Dublin.
    Hearing it back think it wasn't one of their strongest shows, but nevertheless a great experience. Eddie telling some kind of story which ended in "what's the point, well ehhh it's this place in Dublin". That was cool

    The Amsterdam 2 show version maybe not the best, but at the EV solo show in Amsterdam he played it on piano, which was fun.
    Every time if I see some sitting with an acordeon I'm always tempted if they can play Bugs

    PSA: FAKE / SCAM Pearl Jam Tickets! What you need to know! - $100 (Midtown)
    The scum of the Earth is trying to ruin this most magical of concert experiences for you. Protect yourself! There is absolutely nothing worse than spending hundreds of dollars, getting all psyched up for a concert, and then getting denied at the door. Fakes have gotten increasingly better over the years, so make sure you follow these tips.

    1) If it seems too good to be to true.... Are they offering the best seats in the house for $100 each? Do they seem like fans, or do they write at a second grade level? Honestly, it seems like over half of the postings are scams, so GO IN SKEPTICAL!

    2) Get rid of the anonynymity. Tell them to email you from their non-craigslist email address. Even better, ask if they could email you from their work email address.

    3) TELL THEM YOU'VE BEEN SCAMMED BEFORE, so you need to be extra careful. Ask if they're the original purchaser, and request that they send you pictures of the front, back, the receipt, AND the envelope they came in. Just tell them you've been burned before and that you need to be careful since this is a lot of money. If they tell you they got it from their dad, or that they lost their ID, or that they don't have paypal, these are all red flags.

    4) If possible, compare the picture to any other Ticketmaster stub from concerts past. Examine the fonts down to the pixel: does the capital A look exactly the same in their picture as it does on your stub? Real tickets actually have overlapping text (the "Row" text is printed onto the ticket paper long before your actual row number is printed to it, and you'll actually see some of your row number printed ON TOP of the "Row" text on the ticket paper). Look at the back and confirm that there is a Letter/number (example: A-364893319) in the lower-lefthand corner. If the tickets are supposed to be next to each other, these entries should only differ by the last digit.

    5) If you think it checks out, tell them you want to meet up. MAKE SURE that you meet someplace public, well lit, where you can sit together and further look at the tickets. A McDonalds or Starbucks works perfectly. If they're hesitant, they're probably scammers.

    6) REAL TICKETS WILL SHINE A GREEN GLOW onto the front of your ticket, if you put a light up against the back. Use the flashlight on your cellphone. Again, bring a real stub from tickets past to make the comparison. Also compare card stock perforation and all that other stuff. Be sure to check the date, artist and venue too, obviously. Some people try to sell their tickets from the night before! Ask to see their ID. Scammers will have every excuse in the book as to why their story doesn't add up, so don't be quick to trust them.

    Please be smart, guys. Ticket scammers are worse than drug dealers. Put them out of business!

  6. Solid list of gigs but a few great gigs were left out. Praha Berlin and Hamburg are 3 of the strongest shows IMO and much better then Say the Paris show

    My wife is from Florida and after so many years living in manhattan she wanted out, so we moved the clan here to the summer place I bought many years ago

    I still have the place in manhattan and I'm seeing my parents tonight and meeting all my crazies from manhattan tomorrow
