Speaking of Hartford, I kind of gave the set list a bit of a bad wrap initially. On its own, it is very good. However, I guess I was simply looking for some new stuff (beyond Alone and F'n up). At this point, these two songs on their own aren't enough to draw me to its bootleg.
We'll see how the tour progresses, I guess. There's still 16 more shows scheduled for 2013!
Joe Buck just 'advertised' PJ's new album as they went to commercial. He even got poetic to say that "the 'pendulum' (which was, obviously, the song playing) in St. Louis' favour."
Another show tonight!! Ill be around here n there.
Getaway
Jeremy
In My Tree
Insignificance
Tremor Christ (cmonnn)
Sad
Sleeping By Myself
Inside Job
You Are
Deep
These are my predictions for songs that will get played before this stretch is over. I think Tremor Christ actually has the lowest % chance of getting played. It'll be a shame if Getaway never pops up!
I can't see why they aren't playing Jeremy, I thought it was one of their biggest hits. It must be the only one out off RVM#Up (the 1st CD of thecompilation) that hasn't been played yet this tour:
"Once"
"Alive"
"Even Flow"
"Jeremy"
"State of Love and Trust"
"Animal"
"Go"
"Dissident"
"Rearviewmirror"
"Spin the Black Circle"
"Corduroy"
"Not for You"
"I Got Id"
"Hail, Hail"
"Do the Evolution"
"Save You"
Am I right? Maybe Dissident too, I don't recall seeing it...
On an unrelated note, I'm in the proccess of learning all my fav PJ songs on guitar (only know Better Man, Black, the easy Wishlist, Rearviewmirror and I think that's all) and I've just realized how complicated are some of their lines, chord progressions, solos and secondary riffs. Those who say this is just a grunge band with basic chords a la Nirvana are very wrong and haven't stopped to truly analize their songs.
