1. Isn't PJ big enough to have their "own" show in places like France, Portugal, Spain, and Italy? it wasn't that long ago (2006) that they were able to do so. It seems that they've just been playing festivals in these countries every since. Am I missing something? I guess it is simply "easier" to latch on to a festival than to promote your own gig(????).
  2. every single band, bigger and smaller than PJ passed through Italy since 2006 .. not PJ (and Soundgarden..) .. so i don't blame on local amministration/promoter at all .. Eddie solo tour in 2012 told me a lot .. everything was settled and then .. last minute step back
similar for the other countries you mention i suppose

ps: 2006 5 dates .. all sold out ... Immagine in Cornice seems to be more and more a farewell gift
ppss: here they're much more popular than in 06

long live The Boss and U2
  3. I feel a change in your avatar coming on, Ron.
  4. How about this one?
  5. Then I can steal yours.
  6. this

    hehehe

(the one i use on loose-ends)
  7. Or I could use something like this one:
  8. ...but your current one is better.
  9. so you don't feel them coming to Italy, do you Matt? hehe
  10. You seem to like the younger versions of these rockers.

  11. In all honesty, I have NO IDEA what these bands/promoters get up to. That said, with the relatively heavy promotion of Lightning Bolt I would be shocked if they didn't do a relatively thorough tour of Europe - which would include at least one gig Italy, if not two.
  12. It seems the band tends to take advantage of the festival circuit as much as possible these days - especially overseas. They aren't playing any of their own gigs in Australia and NZ. I can't help wonder if they'll do (mostly) the same in Europe.

Only Germany, Netherlands, and UK (and Ireland, I guess) seem to be getting their own PJ shows these days.
