^Nice setlist - although there's nothing new that I can cross off the yet-to-be-played list.
...and why oh why do they refuse to perform the "It's OK" tag at the end of "Daughter????" It makes the song! I listened both the 2000 Jones Beach and 2011 Toronto versions yesterday and they are both brilliant versions - not only for the tag but also for the performance of "Daughter" itself.

Opening Night LB North American Tour
Band sound fantastic .7 years between gigs in Pitt. " bout fucking time". Eds voice is in great shape. Perfect renditions of Pendulum , Of the Girl and the classic Nothingman . The mellow start continues with Small Town . Energetic crowd, sing along etc. Great start.
The band pick up the pace bigtime with new rockers LB ,MYM. The classic Animal follows. Quick nosedive with the below average Got Some. Ugh. Dissident ?
GTF - Faithful is a great run.
Sirens IMO is hands down the best tune on LB and it's perfection here. " the fear goes away " ......
Unemployable = waste . Even Flow ?
Why Go Daughter and RVM are highlights at the end of the set.
Encore 1 starts off with the boring SOS. Yellow Moon is fantastic , as is Footsteps. Love that tune. Whipping - Porch = brilliant run.
Encore 2 Black and Alive are epic. RITFW is boring , YL never bores me.
Solid opening night. A few tweaks to the set and this show is better .

Highlights : Of the Girl Nothingman Sirens Footsteps Black
I’m kind of digging the three-song (well, in this case four-song) run of slower songs to start the show before busting into something heavier. If anything, it’s a nice way to switch things up for a new tour. I think “Pendulum” is a very cool song and a great opener. That said it could be moved around the setlist (open the first encore?) instead of opening the majority of all of the LB tour shows. You also gotta love them bringing out "Of The Girl" already!
“Lightning Bolt” and “Mind Your Manners” are solid tunes – won’t be classics as time wears on but good enough for 2013. Admittedly, I think they should have stuck one heavier hit in before these two as “Lightning Bolt” itself is a somewhat light (kind of reminds me of “Unthought Known.”) Maybe Animal could have been played before these two instead of afterwards.
Not a fan of “Got Some” but the Yield run makes up for it.
“Sirens” is nice but I still don’t like the “November Rain” drums on it.
“Unemployable” is one of my least favourite PJ songs.
Aside from “Let The Records Play” which is just okay – definitely (for me anyway) a weaker track on the new album – I think the rest of the main set is solid. Always love “RVM.” I should add that the performance of “Daughter” was a bit thin. I won’t go on yet another “Why won’t tag ‘It’s OK’ at the end?” rant again.
Good for them for bringing out a rarity like “Speed of Sound” to show what they plan to do for this tour. Too bad I’m not that big of a fan of the song. “Yellow Moon” is nice but needs to follow a better song. “Footsteps” is, obviously, brilliant.
The rant by Pirates pitcher Jason Grilli is kind of funny but the build up into “Whipping” might be the highlight of the show for me. Good finish with “Evolution,” “Better Man/Save it For Later,” and “Porch” – although I’ll eventually start complaining about the frequency of this song on this tour.
“Black” and “Alive” to start the second encore are brilliant – really performed well. “Rockin’ In The Free World” is performed too soon on this tour (and too often on any given tour.) They do a nice job with the song but no way should be played more than a couple of times on any given leg.
“Yellow Ledbetter” sounds great. Again, I’m looking ahead but they’ve done a nice job not overplaying it on this LB tour.
Highlights: Pendulum, Of The Girl, Untitled/MFC, RVM, Whipping, Black, and Alive
Rating: I agree with Ed. Four stars. Good start to the tour.
I love love love reading the reviews. Ill try to add to the convo but I can't promise. I'm on my phone 90% if the time Nd to type out a review would be torture !! Lol
Note: My intention is to review what I hear on the bootleg and not what I witnessed at the actual show.
The slow start that occurred in Pittsburgh (and Wrigley) is back...”Pendulum” is first again – you can’t blame them for wanting to try out a new song/opener. I have only recently begun to appreciate “Low Light” (I can say I like it now) but have always loved “Sometimes.” By the time these three songs end it is time for something upbeat and you don’t get any better than “Corduroy” in my opinion - a very solid performance.
The “LB/MYM” tandem is back. Not bad...not bad. It reminds me of the “World Wide Suicide/Severed Hand” pairing of the 2006 tour.
“Do the Evolution” is a mess. EV just didn’t have the voice for it on this nice. The howls are forced, limited, or non-existent. Too bad.
“Immortality” is beautiful. I love that little picking intro at the start of the song. Unfortunately, the mood is sort of killed by a weak performance of “My Father’s Son.” They even mess up the beginning and have to restart. I suppose a decent performance of “Even Flow” gets things back on track although I think they should have held off in playing it until after “Swallowed Whole” and even “Sirens” which was performed better in Pittsburgh.
Way to kick it back up with “Once.” Way to ruin it with “Comatose” – the only time (as of Dec 3, anyway) that it’s been played on the tour.
“I Got Id” is a great song but EV struggles with it here. Admittedly (and unfortunately), “Infallible” sound better on the album than is does live.
“Present Tense” sounds pretty good – lots of help from the crowd (although I will admit I am recall what I witnessed right now). Decent performances of “SOLAT” and “Porch” close out the main set.
I love “Off He Goes” but there are better performances out there – seemed to be some sound issues at the start of the performance. They should have chosen to play just one of “Yellow Moon” or “Future Days” (a bit too much of the new album in this show – I know, I know...it is the LB tour so I shouldn’t complain.)
“Small Town” is meh while “Rats” is pretty cool. “Got Some” at this point in the show is a bad decision. They redeem themselves with a stellar version of “RVM.”
I can’t deny that the performance of “Go” could be awesome or horrible but I’d like it anyway. I was so happy to hear it. “Alive” is ...Alive – will always love it. Like “Evolution,” Eddie’s voice can’t handle “Baba” on this night. To make things worse, he forgets to sing an entire verse of the closer, “Indifference.”
Highlights: Sometimes, Corduroy, IMMORTALITY, Present Tense, RVM, and Go
Rating: I’ll be generous because I was there. (which totally contradicts my introductory statement)...Three stars
I'm going to predict that they play "Rival," "Green Disease," "Mankind" (I'd put money on this one), and maybe even "Who You Are" in Seattle tomorrow night.
I really dont think they need to play Gods Dice, Breakerfall Soon Forget or Insignificance at this point..and all at 1 gig......for me Id much rather hear older classics then 4 eh tunes from an album thats 13 years old.......nothing wrong with representing each release...but play the stronger tunes like Of the Girl and NAIS and rotate them.......same goes for Got Some...Cant Keep and Low Light early on isn't what I would be looking for...
