I'm not complaining but just stating what I've observed. I am going to guess that better performances are to come. Also, I think EV was nursing an illness at the time so I'll excuse him - for now.
I'm ok with Bono messing up the lyrics for the odd performance of an strange song (Party Girl, Stay, etc), but it annoys me when he messes up the lyrics for songs like One, Streets, WOWY, etc. It's like Ed forgetting the words for Better Man, Alive or Even Flow. No no no a thousand times no. And yeah, remembering 120 songs isn't the same as rememberin the 25 staples you play each night. It's really annoying. Even more if you compare it with Bruce Springsteen, that remembers the chords and words to over 250 songs and often improvises or plays requests that he hasn't played for 5, 10, 20 years. Or ever. It's just mindblowing. And he has a good apprentice on Mr Vedder
