1. There is a great red rocks video on youtube. The whole show I believe.

Those are two vault shows that must be released!

Honestly I don't remember, that was far back..and the alcohol was flowing that night.

They should have released that show, instead of the 2007 gig.
  3. Yeah, that 2007 gig, even though it has an interesting setlist, really doesn't grab me. I'm sure being in a small venue with PJ diehards who are trying to check rarities of their "I-saw-it-live" list enjoyed it but I don't know if I'd really get that energy from a bootleg.
  4. I gotta be honest, I'm really looking forward to a world famous Matt mega mix of the 2013 tour!! No pressure.... Lol
  5. Hes gonna HAVE to add Nothing As It Seems from Boston N1. Great tune, great version.

  6. It may seem a bit crazy that I/we get excited about what they play on this tour but it really is all about the mega-mix for me. This one's going to be colossal - up to 8 CD's!!!!??????

I'll really want your feedback on what should (and shouldn't?) be included once all the bootlegs get released. For the many songs that were played many times, it'll be tough picking just one. If they played a song just once and they messed it up, should it be included?

The "NAIS" performance was indeed solid but EV messes up at one point. I hope they "Daughter" from Vancouver is "clean" as that's the one that I must include.

Also, what about the Aussie gigs? Should they be included? Should I hold out to make possible European gigs part of the compilation?

    Decisions. Decisions.
  7. Do Aussie separate... Betterman from Bklyn N2 is def an earlier contender for best version....
  8. If a song is played once include it. I enjoy the mess ups on rare songs lol. I love when they played Satans Bed on State college 03 boot... It's mangled but it shows how spontaneous a PJ show can be.

  10. 10.15.13 Boston N1

Great opening.. Release into Long Road !?!? The start of Release is a bit off. Ed missed his ohhmmmmmmm stops, and did it again. I didn't get the usual chill.

Long Road sounds great 2nd and this must have been something to witness live. The song itself is a mess here unfortunately . Wrong chords , missed words .

Small Town is welcomed early , and this is a great opening hat trick . Crowd as always eat it up. The band sound shaky though.

LB MYM and the classic Hail Hail picks things up bigtime.

The band seem to wake up during that rocking run. Whatever fog they were in has worn off . (LB sounds like someone's guitar is out of tune for the first half).

Sirens sounds way off. Ed is late and it just doesn't sound as good as it did in Pitt. Ed struggles with the high notes .

NAIS sounds great and should get a lot more playtime IMO.

Red Mosquito Whippingq and Corduroy is another great 3 song run. RM is such a great tune and needs more play !

Infallible sounds decent , but the very boring Got Some follows, running into another boring tune, the oh hum Save You. Talk about a piss/ beer run bunch of tunes.

Thank God Leash appears , but the boring Let Records play follows killing the excitement .

Leash Evolution and Better Man would have been a much better way to wrap up the set.

Encore 1 Man of the Hour Yellow Moon (love it) Fatal and Just Breathe. Fatal is ok but that isn't what I would have been looking for. Boring slow run of tunes, one after the other.....maybe Hard to Imagine and Oceans ??

The rest of encore(s) is good not great.

I love Indifference and Mary, but Last Kiss and Sonic don't cut it for me in Encore 2.

    4 stars
solid, but at times shaky show
Too many great tunes for an under 4 rating IMO.

Highlights : Nothing as it Seems, Red Mosquito, Whipping, Hail Hail, Leash

Release > Long Road are always highlights , but both sounded off ....
  11. Great review Ed. N2 has a phenomenal run starting mid encore 1 to the end if the show.

How is it possible that PJ aren't playing Seattle for 2 nights..but they played LA Bklyn and Boston for 2 ?

Amazes me too and also I'm quite ok not to have won tickets for this show in the end. Would be utterly disappointed spending all that money and travel time for one show, as I was for sure anticipating a 2nd show. And now it gave me also the opportunity to see my other Seattle favourites several times before the end of the year.
