  5. Not For You, Daughter and Better Man all had snippets in them too, if I remember correctly. I don't really mind about what songs they play in Melbourne, I got three that I was really keen on tonight. Better Man was great. Was about ten minutes long.

    Does the whole band usually start the encores seated? They all were for Yellow Moon > Mother tonight. Never seen that before!

    I'm not sure if it was actually, but it was an extended version requested by one of Eddie's Aussie surfer mates (he's famous but I don't know his name). It seemed real long though. Yellow Moon was dedicated to the full moon and all the crazy shit it causes, and Sad was a fan request. Well, the most bizarre request I've seen. Eddie actually saw this guy about five people back in the pit and said, hey, there's this guy down there, we should know his name by now but for some reason we don't, he's been to heaps of our shows but we haven't seen you for a while. Any special song you want played? And another song earlier in the set was dedicated to a customs officer, I can't remember which one though. Apparently they just love Australia and the people or something? Big Wave was dedicated to all the surfers and beaches.
  8. Jeff was also wearing an Arcade Fire shirt tonight. Win said he was playing basketball with Jeff yesterday, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was the result of a game of Horse or something too

    Arcade Fire are huge fans of Pearl Jam so I'm not surprised that a friendship has sparked. Both great bands anyway.

    Yes Matt, FIVE shows. They aren't young anymore and will eventually slow down, I want to see them as much as I possibly can before they start fading. Besides, they are my second favourite band. The setlist variation pushes me towards more shows as well. Expensive, but it'll be worth it in the end.
