  2. Im revisiting the 2010 MSG shows. Still amazing,,,absolute classics. Listening to Unthought Known from Night1 reminds me that its a great song. The 2013 versions sound lifeless and overplayed. The energy in the performance is unreal from 5/20/10.

    Yeah, Unthought Known has really lost a lot of its initial lustre for me. The "gems and rhinestones" have dimmed, you might say. Not long ago I rated it as one of the best post90s PJ songs. It has definitely dropped quite a bit for me - although I still consider it the best song on Backspacer (which might not be saying much).

    next step tomorrow in Baltimore and then finally what intrigues me more in this first bunch

    I would rank Hartford and C'ville as the best two boots of leg one if I take into consideration both overall performance and setlist.

  8. As much as we have been applauding the 2013 setlists for their variety of different songs, the band did a really nice job in 2009/2010 in hitting most of their back catalog. Heck, they even played songs like Brother, Rival, and Ghost!

  12. I'm a Bruce fan. I know there's no point in song hunting haha! Indifference would blow me away though. Under six hours now, been raining all day. Outdoor show, do PJ play special shows in the rain?
