In my opinion the Gold Coast set was better and I feel as though the band actually gave more to the show and crowd on the 19th, probably due to the weather (insanely hot all day and night)

It happenes dude! It especially sucks when the first one is better! Sets the bar so high. I'm glad you enjoyed most of the show. The problem is not necessarily the "jam" but it's probably more of the fact that Porch itself is very overplayed lately.

  2. One thing everyone disappointed with was that Pearl Jam played a festival with one show in each city bar Sydney. They come here and sell out multiple nights in reasonably large stadiums (35-40k) but only do one festival show to mostly 15-20 year olds who would generally rather be at the DJ sets. Even EV said last night that they wanted more concerts here
  3. I suppose there is always next year for stadiums. I can almost see them touring Lightning Bolt a little bit more aggressively. I'd expect some August-September North American dates soon.

Yeah I'm not disappointed at all. And it wasn't a bad show by any means, it was still great. It's just that to me, the Gold Coast show was greater!

I hope the do come back Kieran, I'd love to see more of these guys

There have been rumours for May - they are just rumours at this point, however.

  6. The supporters, they have even withdrawn nr 12 so no player can use that
  7. Is that universal or more a Euro football/soccer thing? I have a feeling some NFL players wear #12 or maybe none do anymore.

In any case, I like the idea.
  8. Silly me, I forgot that Tom Brady wears #12 - and so does Aaron Rodgers.
