1. Over the past month or two, I simply re-listened to all of them - well, most of them. I plan to kick back to the final three shows from leg 2 this weekend and then it's on to leg 2 - where some deeper cuts made their appearance!
  2. Listening to the San Diego gig on PJ Radio

Very very good so far !

  3. Had it on in the car .... On the way to the KIngs of Leon concert at the garden .... My fiancé gave me the only look. Like really!! Put on KoL!! Lol
  4. Hahahahha..KOL are solid...enjoy
  5. KOL were solid but they also had the unfortunate placement of being my first after PJ which is just not fair. No Notion No Knocked Up? Surprising but whatever! PJ definitely had set the concert bar so high that it really isn't fair for anyone else. This always happens to me. First the post PJ show depression then the inevitable first concert after them and it always pales in comparison.
  6. Bands should really take a lesson from Pearl Jam and perform like they do.

  7. 80% of bands just don't have that in them. They played a solid 2 hour 27 song set but it's just not the same. And I am a KOL fan. I know every song. I felt outta place getting excited last night when they busted out Trani to close the main set. I felt like I was the only one who knew the song! As opposed to a PJ show when they bust out a rare cut the crowd eats it up !! I'm not knocking KOL it's just not easy to follow PJ
  8. I'm looking back over those Leg 2 setlists and it's getting me very excited for the upcoming boots!

I agree, some bands have to start with a drive to perform those sort of shows. Kings of Leon always perform a staple setlist on tour, which is something I hate. Setlist variation is the way forward - gets the most out of a band's catalogue.
  10. Ed guested with Bruce tonight

  11. As much as I (initially) disliked the lag in bootleg releases, it was probably for the best in the long run. I have given them all a second round of listening (two or three times the first time around and one or two times the second time) and now appreciate how good these shows were. If they just kept coming, certain show (Pitt, Boston 2, and Philly 1 all come to mind) may have be "lost" in the sea of shows.

Hopefully nothing gets lost in the upcoming ones - especially since there might be four out on Wednesday! I'll be sure to take my time with them.

  12. Got my Bruce tickets this morning. BB&T Center , Sunrise Fl. 04.29.14

Side of the stage .... always a good night seeing the Boss
