1. i dare to put Pendulum up there among those classic openers
not that i need a lot of courage hehe
  2. Eddie likes to get advice about where's about to play from Bruce uh
he knows very well who to talk to .. contrary to one of our good knowledge

i hope he will before San Siro as well

  3. I really like it as an opener. It worked really well when I saw them in Buffalo and sounds great on these bootlegs.

I guess I tend to agree with Ed when he says it was maybe overused as an opener. I guess it could also start the typically slow encore 1. If I recall correctly, this happen once last year.

How many shows are you signed up for, Ron?
  5. San Siro ... and will see

    All or None - LA 1 ...
  6. All or none from LA is beautiful. Same for Parting Ways and Around the Bend from leg. 2.

  7. It is. Pendulum has become my favorite PJ song in a long time. It's an amazing song. Gives me chills everytime. I really hope it doesn't become a rarity in the future like "Of the Girl" or "Oceans"

I tend to agree as well BUT it didn't replace the "openers". I'm happy I got it at all 3 shows tbh. I could also complain about getting same starting 4 in Bklyn 2 and PH2 but then I'd be sorta complaining about getting Wash twice in 3 shows which could be considered criminal.
  9. Very true. The (usually) three-song slow opening was excellent and to some extent changed it up a bit from past tours.

Pendulum is a cool opener , but to play it at both Brooklyn gigs , as the opener , was surprising , and for me a let down .

Open the encore with it etc

As a new tune I have no problem with the band supporting the new material , just move the songs around

At least pj promoted their new release . DMB barely play songs from their last album . Dave still force feeds 09s Big Whiskey on us .
  11. The single most depressing part of any song for me is the little instrumental outro in Yellow Ledbetter after the final " I don't wanna stay " lyric. It just reminds me of a PJ show ending and even gives me that feeling while listening to the boots!!! Unbelievable
  12. I think they did a good job with YLB on this most recent tour in terms of not overplaying it. The past couple of years it closed practically every show which took a bit away from its mystique. On the other hand, I think they did a rather poor job with most performances of Indifference. The tempo was took high, EV was too chatty. It's a pretty dark song and it would be nice if it were performed that way.
