1. Generous with the ratings
  2. I was at the show last night...an amazing and unforgettable experience,fo sure....Still, something made me think all along the concert, and that is that Bono told the crowd SEVERAL TIMES: "Don't Forget About Us".....I know he tends to say "we'll never forget this",etc (lke I've heard in many many bootlegs from this tour at least), but this really seemed to him like a farewell thing,it felt like that...
He even stated: "when bands like THE KILLERS or COLDPLAY will come and play in your country, don't forget about these 4 Irish".

It's sad,but think it's pretty clear (at least to me) that the band has 10 years left MAXIMUM,tough I hope I'm wrong.

10 years maxium is ok I guess, then almost the whole band is 60, I think they should know when to stop
  4. downloading the second night's recording as I type..... thanks a million, Macphisto, for your recording, much appreciated and thanks to Sergio for uploading
  5. Thank you very much! Beginning of NYD is amazing!!!! They're singing the piano part

  6. Don't make me even think about that. I'll tear up.
  7. Bono also says that "Don't forget about us"- thingie sometimes, I wouldn't worry too much yet
  8. read the posts following the show and was shocked at the level of bitch. yeah individually we'd all like our ideal set and we all have our special songs. it seems whatever they play there is lots of carping always relating to 'pop' songs..... to drop magnificent must have been a brave decision for them.

maybe its because this tour is their longest to date????? into its 3rd year, lets not forget that.

failing that join a kylie minogue fan site and go see her instead.

    give them a break

    You know what they say.

But seriously, this is their longest tour to date. If you compare the setlist now to what it was back in Barcelona, it's quite clear to see that the tour has evolved quite a bit.
  10. You need to see past the bitching.

We are all too huge fans here
  11. Fans are in some ways the best critics, we know the stuff as well as the band members. In some cases better, in regard to setlists and what songs to play but I'm sure they have a good reason to omit the songs they do and play the ones they play.

  12. they can be even braver and drop Vertigo, City, in a little while ...

well 82 shows till now there were longer tours

it could be good if it happens again that she duets with Bono

anyway you're right whatever they play someone has always something that don't like
