1. I say this with a massive eye roll- not at you, but at the fact of what I'm saying-

Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere. It's just disheartening to hang around a place that, especially in the last few days, has turned into "I don't even KNOW this tour anymore!!!!". People need to stop acting like the 360 Tour cheated on the original setlist with new ones. People want set variations, they get them, and then they complain. Sorry that U2 isn't going to use their most expensive stage to date to bust out a rarities set for you. The times they are a changin', the "new" album aint so new anymore, and they're still putting on a show. Be happy.

    Well said x2
  4. I don't understand what people are saying here.

Some people are acting as if the entire feel of the tour has changed. If I can recall, I believe the intention of calling this the 360 tour was not because 360 degrees had any relationship with the album, but rather the entire feel of the show. They still have the amazing stage that allows them to have bigger shows. They still have a cheap price bracket for tickets that wasn't available during previous tours. They didn't just pack up the Claw and go home.

As far as I am concerned, this was, still is, and always will be, the 360 Tour. I don't think it was ever really about the album, but rather their focus was the audience.

It's just a bit sad that some people can't appreciate that fact.

    Amen

I remember posting something along the same lines ahead of the 2nd Euro leg in Turin last summer. Folk need to chill out and enjoy the band whilst they are stil here

They're not on the edge of the innovation and sure their setlists have not the same dynamism as they had back in... wait, their setlists were never dynamic!! Well, let's take Lovetown as a (bad) example. For sure the 360 setlist is not as varied (?), but they're pulling out some great performances very often (saying "night after night" wouldn't be accurate either), and they're taking some risks every now and then. I'm happy.

Moreover, and this is my summary: they have to play for the 80.000 who are there on the stadium every night, not for the X.000 (X<5, I'm sure) who follow the concerts sat at their computers spread around the world. That's all. Accept it and be happy, or deny it and be bitter.

  9. Lol, I was aware of that bud
  10. Maybe three calendar years is too long for the same tour.

  11. Good point.I dont think the band intended to be on tour this year.I could be wrong of course. The American tour last year was cancelled, this year they are making the dates up.I dont mind the setlists at all.I prefer the older stuff of course, since Im older. But,for the band to ignore more recent material would be wrong.
My only gripe is,where is SOA?
